I worked with Joel for a number of tasks. He did great work, paid attention to detail, was friendly and communicative and made sure we were both clear about what work was to be done before he did it. Additionally, he did a bunch of research in between visits for a couple of the tasks, and he showed real ingenuity and resourcefulness. I'll definitely work with him again when the need arises. Some of the work involved child-proofing and general safety tasks, such as installing child safety latches on a lot of drawers and cabinets and securing some large shelving units to the wall. We also had a problem with our dishwasher door, and Joel did some research, came up with a theory that turned out to be right, and showed me how and why a part had gotten disconnected (tangled in some sound-insulating material). Lastly, we had a kind of odd request on the child-proofing front, involving several heating vents in the floor that were a little too easy for a toddler to remove. Joel came up with a nice solution to secure them pretty unobtrusively, and did some great work to find wood pieces that matched the somewhat unusual color of our floor wood.

We recently purchased a new rv that had lots of storage, but very few shelves in the cabinets, a closet without a sliding bar, plus we needed other custom features. Joel did a fabulous job creating quality inserts from added features in cabinets, a slide out garbage bin, a fold down table for my husband’s CPAP machine. Each item was one of a kind, and they turned out just right. Creative, thoughtful, quality work. I’d recommend Joel very highly.
