I worked with Joel for a number of tasks. He did great work, paid attention to detail, was friendly and communicative and made sure we were both clear about what work was to be done before he did it. Additionally, he did a bunch of research in between visits for a couple of the tasks, and he showed real ingenuity and resourcefulness. I'll definitely work with him again when the need arises. Some of the work involved child-proofing and general safety tasks, such as installing child safety latches on a lot of drawers and cabinets and securing some large shelving units to the wall. We also had a problem with our dishwasher door, and Joel did some research, came up with a theory that turned out to be right, and showed me how and why a part had gotten disconnected (tangled in some sound-insulating material). Lastly, we had a kind of odd request on the child-proofing front, involving several heating vents in the floor that were a little too easy for a toddler to remove. Joel came up with a nice solution to secure them pretty unobtrusively, and did some great work to find wood pieces that matched the somewhat unusual color of our floor wood.

I contacted Joel very last minute, during a major move out to a new home 25 minutes away. We needed help with very intricate heavy platform remote control beds, in dismantling and moving and setting up again. Joel responded almost immediately and said YES, he could get to us in 30-45 minutes. Joel was our saving grace. He was an angel. He was on time and Amazing. His integrity and character along with his quality of work were 110%. He was professional and thorough. He did not cut any corners. He took the time he needed to do the job proficiently and correctly. He then drove with our moving van to our new location and set up two queen platform beds. Along with a few other things I asked him to do. I will rehire him again and again because he is just that good. Thank you Joel!!
