Nutrition, dietary, and dietary supplement consultations & counseling, sometimes including written "protocols." Where appropriate, I include herbal medicine options for acute and/or chronic situations or conditions.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Formal training, professional experience (perhaps including public speaking experience) in different settings, e.g. integrative pharmacies, health clubs, natural foods industry, private practice, etc. Certification(s), affiliations with community-based professional groups, volume of consultations, expressed values in the therapeutic area concerned. Overall education to gauge the whole person, background, and worldly perspective.
