I had the best intentions when I rescued my dog, Pita. In my mind I promised to take her for long walks every day. Well life somehow got in the way and our daily walks became very inconsistent. An already big dog, an eighty pound lab mix, Pita was gaining weight. I needed help. Janet and I now share in Pita's daily routine and I am so glad I found Lady and the Scamps. Janet and Pita are fast friends and Janet even helps out with Shelby, my Sister's Golden Retriever, on occasion. I recommend her services highly.

Before hiring Janet I had hired the most advertised dog walking company. I was so shocked about the unprofessional and grooming of the dog walker I almost gave up the thought of having a dog walker. I had broken my foot and couldn't provide my dog with the exercise and socializing she was used to. I found Janets card after my bad experience and she was perfect. My dog loves her and I couldn't be happier. She is a very caring and dedicated to giving her best to the dogs she takes care of. It is very obvious her love of all dogs and other animals. I trust her completely and feel blessed we found her. I highly recommend her!

Have used Janet, Lady & the Scamps and been overwhelmed by the prompt, efficient and loving care she provides. I'm extremely impressed with her commitment to individual attention; and I'm confident whenever I've had the occasion to use her service!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I am an experienced and insured dog walker that loves all dogs. I am happy to have a job which allows me to enrich and make the lives of dogs and their owners better. Not only do I spend quality time with your dog, I always keep in touch with you to let you know how your dog is progressing or any changes I might notice. I also provide in-home pet sitting for people that need to be away from their dogs and wish for their dogs to stay in their own home where they feel more secure. I have been certified to provide medical assistance to dogs in emergency medical situations, including CPR.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make certain your dog walker is insured and has a business license. Ask them how they react when your dog misbehaves. Make sure they provide you with a contract and they have CPR and medical training in case there is an emergency while you are away.
