- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Basically I got into tutoring because it allowed me to my education while helping others succeed in theirs. Currently, I am taking classes towards getting a masters in bioinformatics.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Of course, I mostly am answering homework questions and explaining topics. Depending on what area the student is struggling, I may suggest different study methods or habits that are making the material harder. In other words, I do help with study skills.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Whatever the definition, at some point or other in our academic lives, almost everyone needs a tutor. Even the brightest kids may have one troublesome subject, or maybe they just need a little extra boost to get the higher grade and get into the college of their choice. With the fierce competition to get into good schools, a little algebra tutoring, calculus tutoring, or science tutoring may be just what you or your student needs. Private tutors offer the best option if you are looking for a tutor since we usually charge less, meet you at a remote location, and have the same (often more) experience.
