- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have pretty fair and reasonable prices. I also do offer discounts on big jobs. I like to work with the customer and make it work for both of us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Check in with customers first. Get a feel of what they really need. Set up a day and time to check scope the project. If the customer likes the estimate, we’ll decide a good day and time to start. Or I can even start the same day if it’s something simple and all materials are on site. If it’s a small project I could even run to pick up the few supplies needed for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an apprentice/ helper in my younger years for a family friend that’s been in the business for almost 30 years. He is where I learned most everything I know now, and who I call when I might need help with an idea.
