The Admissions Tutor

Hello All! My name is Helene Langlamet. I am a recent PhD graduate from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania with years of experience as an SAT and more recently GRE tutor and admissions coach. I find the best way to approach the admissions process is to meet students where they're at and encourage them to reclaim from test makers and college admission boards their role as the arbiters of their own value. The process of college admissions is not one of fitting yourself to outside expectations, but to become a more skilled interpreter of your own value so others can readily see it. Of course, you'll pick up new skills and knowledge, but the point of that is to become better at showing what you innately have to offer. College and graduate admissions test prep and coaching can be very expensive. I am offering reduced rates as I start off on this website. Keep in mind, if you take this process into your own hands, just a few sessions can make all the difference.
