If I could give 10 stars I would!! I found Haku Sushi on Thumbtack and I received a response in under an hour. JT is amazing!! He is so pleasant and funny, and a top notch sushi chef!!
We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and wanted something more special than a taco truck so when we found JT we knew we had found that “something special”. I asked if we could taste his food to decide, so he came to our house and made us our 5 favorite rolls and we were blown away!!! When we let people know we were hiring a sushi chef our friends went crazy!! He has 3 tiers of pricing, and he serves for 2 hours, all we could eat, and then some!! The first tier is 10 different style of rolls. The second tier adds sashimi, a larger selection of rolls and some special requests, our friends asked for baked crab hand rolls, and my brother is vegan and uses soy paper, and JT made it happen!! The third tier is anything you can think of!!
He starts prepping 2 hours before “opening” and comes with everything prepped, rice cooked, crispy rice crispy… he and his assistant hand make each roll and do the most beautiful displays!! Remember, this is all you can eat, so for the 2 hour service he continues to make sushi and replenish the display. He also takes special requests, and if he has the ingredients, he will make it.
I’ve eaten at some very fancy sushi restaurants in my time and this was the best I’ve ever had. The fish was so fresh, it just melted in my mouth, and judging by my guests reactions, and the sheer quantity of what they ate, he was a hit!! It was my favorite party I’ve ever hosted, was it the amazing time I had with my friends because I wasn’t tied to the kitchen cooking?? Was it because I didn’t need to clean the kitchen afterwards?? Maybe, but what an amazing anniversary party that our friends will continue to talk about, and how jealous our friends are who couldn’t make it!!
I cannot recommend Haku Sushi enough!!! Just book them!! You will not be disappointed!!

Chef TJ and team were amazing! Had them over for a small backyard party. We loved the set up, all dishes were delicious! Highly recommend, we’ll be calling them back for our next event!
