- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is typically based on square footage, plus any additional services you may need, such as pool inspections, guest house inspections, or garage conversion inspections. Let me know what's involved and I'll give you a clear number upfront.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick text or call to understand what you need and answer any questions. Once we agree on scope, we sign an agreement and schedule the inspection. After the walkthrough, you'll receive a thorough, easy to read digital report for your review.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm ICC certified, which stands for International Code Council, across four disciplines: Residential and Commercial Building, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. Very few home inspectors hold ICC certification in even one of these areas, let alone all four, since the certification process is genuinely difficult to complete. I'm also a former LADBS code enforcement inspector, and I like working in the field and working with my hands, not just behind a desk.
