Markshane was prompt in replying to my enquiry through thumbtack and flexible in seeing me on my schedule very early in the morning. When we met he was engaging, empathetic, understanding and walked me through his story, his passion and how he thought he could help me. Needless to say I am now a customer and very impressed by not just the fitness solution he is offering, but also the support, holding me accountable and the ancillary services (nutrition and massage) available. He truly understands that he can help support you to better health, but that you may not realise that yet, so the process is slow at first, as it should be. I have been working with Megan for several months now and have had a great experience. I have dropped over 23 pounds and over 20 inches. I have knee and sugar issues and Megan has been amazing at helping me plan for a healthy diet with my restrictions and modify exercises as needed for everyone. I asked Lauren to help me with my nutrition to gain weight. She was awesome! She created a meal plan custom for me, gave me an hour long consultation to start, and always checked in every week to see how I was doing. Brittney is definitely one of the best trainers if not the best trainer I've had in my 4 years of exercising. She takes her time to explain any question and minute detail you may have of exercise movements to proper nutrition. She's the entire package, I definetly recomend her ??.
I have been working out with Will for over a year. His workouts are challenging and fun. Each workout varies. Will's passion is fitness and it shows in his teaching style. Will makes sure you use proper form and proper breathing to get the most out of each exercise! He is an expert in the use of kettlebell and Bulgarian bag. No two classes are ever the same. He also is expert in mobility. His classes have helped me increase strength and flexibility. I highly recommend Will as a trainer. His rates are very reasonable and you get great value for your money! Will lives what he teaches....if you have a nutrition question he knows the answer or will find it for you. He is personable and very easy to talk to. He will help you reach your fitness goals! Iron Will Athletics is awesome---Will has found terrific trainers to run the classes he doesn't teach. My name is Jim. I've been training with Chris at least twice a week for the past 13 plus years. We do functional fitness training With a combination of programs using your own body weight such as push ups, pull ups, etc We also also do weights and agility programs that focus on strength and cardio with a good mixture of various yoga stretches to focus on breathing and enhancing your entire body mentally and physically. We train hard as we do all the exercises togethern but laugh and enjoy it every time. Chris changes the programs periodically so your body continues to change in strength, fitness and agility without ever seeming like work or monotonous. We have great energy throughout our work outs and it continues the entire day He's also very knowledgeable about nutrition It's a great combination that has kept me very fit
Matt, really knows his training. He extremely attentive to those he trains. He is with me. He watches form and is safety conscious. He corrects form and adds small changes that you can feel immediately. His cell phone is not with him so his focus is on you. He also knows nutrition really well and has helped with that portion by providing menus and diets, apps, email tips, and encouragement. I've trained with a number of trainers and Matt is the first to me to provide the attention to detail I've felt was needed.
Krista is very knowledgeable and flexible! Even with my hours that change every week shes able to accommodate me. She follows thru on nutrition and workouts at home. She pushes and encourages me to do more than i think i can. I feel more in shape than i have in a long time. She's an excellent trainer and her prices aren't bad either!
I have been working with Jessica for 2 months and feel great! When we started out I was fatigued, cranky, and definitely addicted to sugar. Jessica determined the reasons behind my ailments, explaining everything as she went. She helped me to plan a proper diet in addition to temporary supplements to get my digestive tract and adrenal glands back to normal. I'm so interested in this process and have learned alot about myself. Jessica is very thorough, professional, sweet (hence the last name), caring and kind. She really knows her stuff. She has been my go-to person for support and nutrition! I also did a reiki session with her (my first time). It was a calming and enjoyable experience. She is such a unique person to know! Best nutritionist in San Diego for natural and healthy foods, especially if you are thinking of becoming a vegan or vegetarian! Basically, I was a bachelor and I needed guidance for grocery shopping, meal prep and did one of her cooking classes focused on smoothies and juicing - was geared to yogis/athletes (pre and post workouts). I was taken to People's in Ocean Beach for a one hour tour (place is all vegetarian), and I learned the best things to pick out from each isle. She also treated me to a salad in their cafe, and told me what salad bar items pack the best nutrition (I was focusing on slowly eating less meat and just making sure I was getting good protein). My work is hiring her for our corporate wellness program based on her dietician background and nutritionist certification...sweet! She has awesome teas too, they cleanse you out ;)
Sara has trained me for years. I've had trainers in the past that where good but extremely intimidating. Sara made my workouts fun (even though sometimes I couldn't see it till the end of the session). She's very personable, she cares about your fitness goals and for me was extremely relatable. She helped me attain my goals for fitness and in training she helped me feel more confident with myself! I wouldn't hire any other trainer but her!!
