FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Refinish and restore antique wood furniture. Each project is lovingly cared for during its revitalization process to insure its integrity, preserve its value and memories; and give the owner many more years to treasure the unique quality and craftsmanship of the piece. I am proficient with veneers, matching stain colors and repairing harshly damaged woods from water stains, cigarette burns, broken legs, wood warpage, etc. Reference: Toy Box Workshop.com
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Furniture that was originally made 85 years or more ago is special in its own right because much of the work was done by craftsman using hand tools and hardwoods from forests that no longer exist. The essence should be on preserving the piece's original integrity and renewing it back to original state. This process takes much experience and many hours of careful, meticulous labor to achieve. Therefore, one should value the historical importance and personal memories the piece imparts ahead of the cost.
