I just had my wedding this past Saturday and I can’t Thank Vanessa enough! She helped with everything from timelines, visiting the venue sight, countless text messages from me, set up my centerpieces and gift table... I could go on for forever. If you need a wedding coordinator please use her. I don’t normally leave reviews because I honestly feel that their is two sides to every story, but this story Vanessa helped me and my new husband write is wonderful, beautiful and went smoothly. My family is a bit much but she just kept her cool and handled everything. Thank you Vanessa and her husband for making our day everything we imagined and stress free!

Let me preface by saying that I’m a first time bride that lives out of state with a 2 year old daughter. I am 150% sure that my wedding day would not have gone as smoothly and frankly, as perfect as it did if it weren’t for Kingdom Weddings & Events. This husband and wife team were absolutely wonderful to say the least. They were punctual, organized, and super sweet! Vanessa was my wedding planner, confidant, and she kept my feet on the ground leading up to one of the most important days of my life. THANK YOU Kingdom Weddings & Events!!! We love you!!!

Vanessa did an amazing job of making my fall theme come together! She was punctual, creative in her ideas, and very afforable. I could not have been more satisfied. She was extremely thorough in the small details, which I appreciated. I would definitely use her again for future events.

Vanessa and her husband were an absolute pleasure to work with the day of my wedding. Vanessa was really responsive and answered all of my questions during the entire process. She was especially helpful during the days leading up to the wedding, making sure we were covering all of my bases. I was able to kick back and focus on being a bride on the actual day trusting that Vanessa and her hubby had it all handled. Friends and family kept telling me to go with the flow and not to worry because things always go wrong at weddings no matter how hard you plan or organize, but this was not the case at all. I was blessed to have everything run so seamlessly and I have this wonderful team to thank for making it happen! They are so cute together, by the way, and their teamwork is apparent. Would highly recommend them in a heartbeat!

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    The most recent event I'm proud of is actually my own wedding. I planned and booked everything (and I mean everything) in about 2 1/2 weeks after my engagement. I didn't have anything preliminary booked, didn't know the exact colors I wanted, didn't know what kind of centerpieces I wanted, no idea what photographer or makeup vendor I would use, not even an exact venue in mind. The only thing I knew for sure when I got engaged was 1. my husband was the man I wanted to marry (which is really all that matters) 2. I wanted to make sure we had good food and appetizers and 3. I knew which vendor I was going to use for my cake and dessert table. I love food and sweets (and my husband) so those things were very fitting for me to know. I can honestly say I was never stressed throughout my wedding planning process and engagement, which was only 5 1/2 months. Hey, when you love someone and have the money saved to do so, then why wait right? With that being said, as not only a Wedding/Event Planner but as someone who was just recently a bride planning her own wedding, it doesn't have to cost a fortune to have your dream wedding. Compromise and sacrifice are key in the planning process. What you really must have vs what you're willing to compromise on. It makes a world of difference.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Experience, experience, experience! Education is great but when it comes to Wedding/Event planning, experience is a must! So make sure they have experience under their belt. Wedding and events require a lot more than people think or are aware of. There is a lot of details that can be overlooked if the vendor doesn't know what to look for, which only comes from experience. Organization and multi-tasking are also traits to look for when looking for a Wedding/Event Coordinator. Again, there are plenty details that need to be taken care of, sometimes at the same time, so having the organization and multi-tasking skills help make these duties easier.
