Dry Wall/Sheetrock Installation
Drywall is a building material commonly used to cover interior walls. It is made
of sheets of compressed gypsum covered on both sides by thick paper; it is
installed on interior ceilings and walls. Drywall comes in a variety of
thicknesses and sizes. There are also different edge treatments, core
additives and paper coatings available. Drywall protects the electric wiring
and utilities in your home by covering them. It also insulates your home from
temperature fluctuations and sound. Other names for drywall are Sheetrock,
gypsum, gypsum wallboard, and wallboard.
The basic installation process includes the following steps:
Prepare and plan. Measuring the space to determine the type and number
of sheets, planning cuts, and preparing ceiling and wall surfaces are
important to a successful installation.
Measure again and cut.
Hang and secure drywall.
Cut out marked openings for electrical outlets, light switches, and other
fixtures.
Apply tape and joint compound.

Painting
Carpet Unlimited, LLC is an experienced team that is used to working with
finished and unfinished commercial and residential properties. We use high
quality Duron paint to finish walls with coatings that are both beautiful and
durable. Carpet Unlimited crews are able to begin work directly after dry wall
has been installed. They use a builder solution by Duron "Builders
Masterpiece", a premium latex surfacer and top coat, to maximize
appearance of new dry wall by hiding defects and creating a smooth, even
surface. The finished product is a burnish resistant, scrubbable and
washable surface, a superior finish that gives Carpet Unlimited the
competitive edge and provides you with lasting results.
Carpet Unlimited uses an excellent exterior wall coasting by Duron
"Weather Shield"; it is a top quality product for use on masonry and concrete
construction to prevent water from penetrating into building interiors. The
flexible elastic film covers and hides hairline cracks.
