Serving all of Southern California, we have 20+ years experience providing elevated comfort food, using local seasonal ingredients and french-trained technique. My roots are southern, yet I have lived and travelled around the world, tasting and learning along the way. We offer an extensive menu and affordable packages to help begin the selection process. Hickory Lane Catering helped me with my mother in laws funeral reception. There were 100 guest. They were very professional and they were responsive to all my questions and requests. They have been in this business for many years, and it shows. The food was delicious and everyone was raving about how much they loved the meal as well as the grazing table. I was so busy I didn’t have time for pictures of the food. I would hire them again for any event l may have in the future

She was so helpful when my mom passed. I didn’t think about food until the last minute and she pulled together a wonderful meal which was thoroughly enjoyed by family and friends. I could not be more grateful.

First, let me say this is the first time we have used a caterer. Overall, everything was quite good to excellent. The sausages, sliders, meat balls, chicken, spring rolls and especially the salads were delicious (note: the sliders were not warm when my husband ate one). The dirty rice was not a big hit, while the mac n cheese was delicious. All leftovers were packaged up and sent home with us, including drinks - that was nice. The kitchen facilities were cleaned up better than they were found. The beautiful thing was I didn’t have to worry about the food… buying ingredients, cooking, cleaning up, serving, etc. If we were to do it again, we would request the kid friendly food (cheese and pepperoni flat bread) be served at the beginning and/or simply buy cheese and pepperoni pizza on our own.

We try to meet any budget and offer flexible options to help you get the most for your money without compromising the integrity of the food.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask a few questions and provide pre-set menus to get started, then build menu options for you based on your preferences. From there we make adjustments and add special touches.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first educators were my mother who baked and my father who mastered the grill and smoker. Followed by all the aunties who didn't mind a little girl asking them how they did THAT. As an adult, I completed a course in french cooking techniques and am a certified holistic nutritional consultant. When I travel, I take cooking courses to learn about local cuisine and techniques.
