FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an Air Force Brat...and Air Force bases had hobby shops and these hobby shops had darkrooms (a lot of photographers today have never been in one). But, when I was 13 and living on Okinawa, Japan...I went to check out the darkroom and discovered the limitless possibilities of creating images. I loved how quickly I could see my artwork and decided then that, "This was my purpose in Life"...I LOVE what I do today!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just produced a video for a client (Tom) who has developed a backpack called the, "NuPak" Backpack. I didn't quite understand the concept and didn't want to let him know that it didn't make any sense to me. But, he's the client and I did what he asked. Luckily, he gave me the creative freedom to add "my" special effects in post production and I thought it really came out great. But, it still doesn't make much sense. Check it out, "NuPak Rising"....https://vimeo.com/86794693
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you hire a visionary that has a passion for what they do. Someone who is very detailed oriented. Someone who's standards are set high.
