- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary depending on which location you choose to train out of. I have a studio in my home in Redondo Beach where I charge $65 a session or I do packages of 10 sessions for $600. I also train out of Powerhouse Gym in Torrance where I charge the same $65 for one session or 10 for $600. I also travel to client's homes and fees vary depending on location. The average price is $80 a session with 10 sessions being $800. I do not charge more for an additional person. I do require payment upfront.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client is a unique experience. I generally like to assess the body first then put the client through a full body workout geared towards them. During this time we discuss nutrition and goals and I am able to assess their level of strength throughout their body. It also gives the client a chance to get a feel for my training style.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a certified personal trainer for over 20 years as well as a certified group fitness instructor. I stay current on my CPR certification. I have been trained in the Big Program, a program designed for people with Parkinson's disease. I have extensive training in nutrition as well as physical therapy and rehab. I have designed my own program for the geriatric population. On the other end of the spectrum, years of teaching PE to elementary kids.
