These guys are absolutely the highest quality movers I’ve ever used! They show up ready to hit the ground running. Communicating with Elmer and Jonathan is super easy. Their quote was incredibly fair and they deserved every penny!! I was more than happy to tip for their impeccable service. Moving is difficult enough, do yourself a favor and hire these movers! Integrity and professionalism are felt, I could relax and hand the moving over to them! They moved my whole 1 bedroom apartment in a couple of hours. They set up my bed, placed the marked boxes in the correct rooms, and even were available to pack up the last items. I would pick Barrera Moving every time!! Don’t waste your money on anyone else.

DO NOT hire JV Moving Services 1443 Kentfield Ave, Redwood City for furniture assembly. It took Johnathan 4 hours, with a helper, to assemble a media cabinet which should have taken 1 to 2 hours. Expert assembly by Wayfair would have cost $99 and he charged $650 for this work. He apparently does not have the ability to read the instructions and work at even an average pace which would be alright if he didn’t charge by the hour. But this is not the worst of it. A media cabinet is supposed to conceal cable boxes and all the wiring. He did not have the sense or ability to figure this out and he left electrical sockets, cable boxes and all wires exposed. He also did not have the experience or professionalism to know where to appropriately anchor the unit to the wall. He was dishonest when he sent a picture of his work because he hid everything from the picture and I stupidly paid in full. When I realized that his work was unprofessional and incomplete, I asked him to return and fix his work. He subsequently set up 4 appointments and each of the 4 times he had an excuse for not honoring his commitment to return and correct his bad work. I realized that because he had already collected his money, he never intended to return. Perhaps it was also because he did not have the ability to do the work properly. In my many years of working with contractors this is the first time I have given a negative review. I want to alert others that JV Moving Services in Redwood City is not qualified to assemble furniture. Please save yourself a lot of grief and frustration and do not hire them.

Honestly this guy knows what his doing he was very friendly !.the work quality was great al my furniture was double rapped and on top of than thivk blankets covered really well .thank you Jonathan all my furniture arrived complete .
