ML Movers were professional, on-time, and efficient movers.
Working with Miguel was actually delightful. From the moment I started my project on thumbtack, Miguel was incredibly responsive. His quote was very straightforward and easy to understand. He runs his business professionally, sending the contract, insurance and other legal documents via DocuSign before the move. He was also able to accommodate my request for a move on a very short notice (less then 7 days from first speaking to Miguel to the move date).
He and his team of two movers arrived 5min early and since I had packed a good amount of items they were able to finish packing and package up my furniture, move and reassemble my furniture in 2.5 hours (my move was only 2 miles away). His team was even able to move my really heavy couch up 2 flights of stairs. He wrapped up with a final checklist review and was on his way. He also gave me a discount for paying cash.
Overall would highly recommend Miguel and ML Movers!!

Jorge and Alex did a very good job and finished the job productively and efficiently. I highly recommend using their service. They are careful and delicate with moving boxes, breakables, and they even wrap everything up for you for no extra charge. They also helped me by not just moving My belongings but by assembling them as well once i moved in. I did not have to lift one finger.

ML Movers was a great moving experience. They were very responsive, the details were easily worked out online and by phone ...so very convenient. The moving truck was there on time and the workers were very friendly helpful and quick. I feel all of my belongings as well as the house were treated with care and respect. I would definitely recommend ML Movers!

ML Movers moved my baby grand piano from a really challenging location (super steep driveway, tight staircase with multiple landings) to another challenging location (more stairs). They knew their way around the piano and charged significantly less than other movers. Communication was clear. Would definitely work with them again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Why Are Deposits Required?
If a moving company don’t ask for a deposit, it should be your first red flag that the mover might not be a good choice.
Professional Moving Companies ask for deposit in order to get an assurance for the deal agreed upon, and to set their schedule.
The real moving companies are busy, and they cannot pledge to do a job if that job has not been guaranteed. Movers’ services and time cost money and they do not want to send a crew and discover that the customer has already moved or he it’s there.
By having a deposit collected moving companies guarantee that the cost incurred in this case will be covered.
If you pay in cash the deposit amount will be refunded to the credit card on file.
If you pay with credit or debit card the deposit amount will be deducted from the final moving costs.
