I’ve been training with Ravi Machado now for about 1 year, and I look forward to our sessions every few weeks. My initial goals in wanting to hire Ravi as a trainer were to gain strength and improve posture. I already had a good foundation of how to lift weights but with some recent neck and lower back pain I wanted more guidance on lifting with correct technique as to not cause more pain. Ravi not only has been helpful in those regards, but has taught me a lot more. Sometimes we work out with body weight, or with a combo of weights, and kettlebells. And other times we’ll just focus on Pilates (as he’s a certified instructor), and some sessions we’ll do a combo approach of weights, HIIT training, and Pilates — which is nice and keeps me on my toes not knowing what I’ll expect. What I’ve learned in my time working with Ravi. I need to stretch more (I have tight hip flexors and hamstrings). The Pilates machines are perfect for doing just this, and even though I dread stretching at times, it’s so necessary to prevent further injuries. I sit and drive a lot for work, and though I’m an active person and fit, he helps me identify those trouble areas of my body that I need to prioritize with stretching (and strengthening) — and we all have them. And not to mention that Pilates is a killer workout! I’ve learned to focus on my back and strengthen my shoulder/back stabilizers to help combat neck pain which has definitely lessened as a result of working together. I also now know how to properly swing a kettlebell and give myself an awesome leg workout in a short period of time. If you’re looking to add variety to your workouts, get stronger, become more flexible, improve posture, and become more aware of how your body and muscles behave and hold onto tension, definitely work with Ravi! I promise you you won’t be bored and his down to earth personality and expert knowledge regarding personal training and Pilates will keep you coming back for more workouts. - Mike N, San Francisco - 5/31/18

I started working with Parand two years ago after an episode of low back pain.She was very experienced and knew exactly what type of exercise program to create to strengthen my back and stomach muscles and stabilize my core muscles. In the beginning, my class was mostly Pilates, now it involves aerobics and weights as well. I exercise twice a week. She really accommodates my schedule-as a busy professional with a young child her flexibility has been key in allowing me to continue exercising. I feel great and I think I also look better in my Jeans which is a huge plus.

Sarah was my pilates instructor for a few years in Switzerland. She paid very close attention to detail and body movement for the most beneficial workout! She kept my trainings fun and challenging whilst incorporating mat, reformer, ring, chair and Cadillac. She listened to my needs and gave professional advice. She is passionate about health, strong body/mind, which makes her a fantastic pilates teacher! Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Sarah!

I snapped my tibia and fibula in January of this year that required surgery, hardware, extensive recovery and PT. I started working with Jordana twice a week because I was still really unbalanced and physically afraid of doing much beyond walking. She was such a gift at that time to me and I cannot really express all the positives about my experience with her. She helped me get my muscles back in alignment after the nasty atrophy that occurred, she did it with humor and physical awareness and kept me on task with kindness and constantly pushed me to do better and reminded me of how far I'd come. As a trainer and person I can't recommend her highly enough; Jordana is motivated, professional, kind and highly knowledgeable about building the skills for physical recovery.

Blair is a great pilates instructor. She's super knowledgeable and fun to work with. She pays careful attention to her students and is acutely aware of subtle details that make a real difference. Personally, she's helped me recover from a knee injury, and I really appreciated how she tailored workouts for to make them challenging and safe.

Olivia gave me the best introduction to Pilates ever! Having never tried it before, I was very nervous about taking a group class so when I saw a decently priced opportunity for an individual or duet class, I decided to try it out. Olivia was fantastic. She explained thoroughly what we were doing and why. I'm the type of person who prefers to know why. And I'm really glad she took the time to speak with me. Olivia geared our lessons to focus on what each I needed and wanted from this experience. She was constantly showing me what I was doing right or wrong and explaining why it should be done a certain way. One of the main reasons I wanted private lessons and not a class was because I was afraid of hurting myself by doing things incorrectly. I've been known to jump into things before without thinking them through. It has been amazing to have someone who takes the time to make sure you are exercising correctly and taking care of your body. I'm incredibly grateful to have taken classes with Olivia. I pay attention to little details on my body that I never noticed before, and I can see a difference in the way I carry myself and in how my body feels. I highly recommend working with Olivia if you have the opportunity. Thank you, Olivia!

In working with Lani for one and a half years now, the results are truly amazing. I have developed deep core strength, flexibility, relief from back pain and my scoliosis has become much less prominent. All of my goals have been met, and she continues to take them to new and higher levels surpassing my expectations. Lani is extremely knowledgeable in how our bodies move, she never rushes through a session and is a stickler for doing each movement correctly with precision. Her private and semi-private session are equally terrific and very enjoyable. She has shown me the safe and correct way to do the movements, so I can do them independently between sessions. A gem of an instructor!
