I’ve been playing violin since age 3 and have devoted over two decades to living and breathing music. I hold a bachelor’s degree from New England Conservatory, where I not only honed technical skills but also explored a rich variety of musical styles—from classical and jazz to Middle Eastern, Bollywood, R&B, blues, soul, and hip-hop. This wide range of influences shapes my unique and evolving voice as a violinist, performer, improviser, composer, and producer. My teaching approach is grounded in embodiment—the deep integration of precise physical technique with focused, attentive listening. Playing well is not only about mastering finger movements but about training the entire body and ear to respond with subtlety and coherence. Together, these form a living posture that supports expressive freedom. Technique, performance, and ear training are always balanced with playful jamming and creative exploration, keeping lessons fun, engaging, and inspiring. Most importantly, I help students develop lifelong skills: learning how to learn through self-awareness and self-adaptation. This foundation enables them to continue growing independently, beyond the lesson room. With practice, students develop a natural fluency—attuning their perception and refining their personal musical vocabulary. This leads to poiesis: the living essence of creative expression, where music emerges authentically from within. My role is to guide students in building solid skills and discovering their own authentic voice—making music that feels alive, honest, and uniquely theirs.See more
