Introduction
InsideOutsideWoodwork is a new name but I've been doing all manner of building trades projects for 30 years along side my other profession - advanced bodywork & massage therapy.
My focus is on doing my best to deliver what the customer wants (vs what will make me more money). I aim to provide top quality work using best value materials at a fair price. If you are looking for speed, then those first two factors may suffer.
I excel at designing, building & installing (indoor) kitchen & bath cabinetry - creating from scratch or installing big box products and fine tuning them so they look custom and (outdoor) decks & fences. I have years of training in design & architecture and decades of experience using that education. I also have experience in all manner of handyman/fix-it work.
I have access to a full wood shop for projects to be built off site and brought to your location for installation. My cargo van carries a full complement of tools, larger & less often used tools kept in storage and the few tools I don't have are readily available for rental.

Tom installed my kitchen cabinets, built a storage shed, refurbished an old fireplace and built a wooden retainer above behind a brick wall on my property-along with numerous other projects over the last 4 years. Attached are some photos. I am very happy with his work, and recommend him.

Tom Merrill solved so many problems I have had over the years in my home in Tiburon, CA. He is a great cabinet craftsman, refinisher, and can replace rotten fence posts all with a possitive attitude.
