Our Parents 50th Wedding Anniversary was a great success in large part because of Bob! He showed up early and was all set up and ready to go on time. He played all the music we requested and kept the party going all afternoon and into the evening. Everyone was having so much fun, we asked him to stay for two extra hours! Karaoke was also a great addition to the fun. Family and friends singing their hearts out LOL! Bob, thanks for making our party such as success! If you want a party you'll always remember, call Bob! He's your Man!!!

We had about 165 guests for my daughter's wedding on April 29, 2017. I first learned about Bob Cuthbert of Dream DJs on Thumbtack last September. I proceeded to read all the reviews and knew immediately that I wanted Bob for our wedding. He has been in the business for many, many years and had also been a DJ. He was very familiar with the music we wanted. After we secured him for our DJ, we corresponded mostly by email and sometimes by phone. He was always prompt in responding As this was our first wedding, he sent us lots of helpful information. We sent him a list of what we wanted for Cocktail Hour and what we wanted for the balance of the night. We even threw in a few revisions. He played EVERY song we asked for!!! I sent him a Time Line and he followed it flawlessly, asking a question here or there to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted. He was a perfect DJ, making just the right remarks when needed and had a great light show also. Many of our guests kept telling us how great he was. His pricing was more than fair and when asked if he could stay an extra hour, he did. He kept the reception running on time with the bridal party entrance, dinner-dismissing tables, toasts, announcements, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional person. Bob did a perfect job and I will use him again if I ever have need and enthusiastically refer him to my friends. And did I say that the Bride and Groom LOVED him and his style too!!! Thank you, Bob.

Bob was a man of true professional. Bob was on time to event, he give my team ideas to bring our guest to dance and karaoke. Bob was a great hit at our 40th high school reunion event in my backyard . We had about 60 classmates at attendance to the party. Bob made it happen with his timing of great music to get the dance floor full of us dancing to old 70's memories. Good times. I had a party at my house and wanted a DJ/karaoke. Bob found out that I had seen on of his DJs at a bar and my husband and friends were so impressed by her he arranged to have her shift covered so she could do my party. Top notch customer service. They were on time and the quality was an A+. We will be having them at our next party.

Bob was fantastic. Set up was impressive...we gave him very generalized information on music to play, he was totally prepared to play anything both for music and karaoke! Very willing to do as much as possible to make sure we were happy and we were!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We love doing these events, so we keep our quotes very reasonable. We have done shows from 1 hour to 12 hours in length. The sound equipment needed varies with the size of the venue. We can add some DJ music and lighting to your karaoke event for no extra charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Dream Karaoke is a full service company. It doesn't matter if your event is easy or elaborate. Well planned or impromptu. We are happy to help. After finding out your preferences, we'll schedule the appropriate KJ.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The most important thing for DJs is staying up to date with music. I listen to KIIS-FM, KFRG, KROQ and other new music stations regularly. I feel it is a must for karaoke too. Although karaoke versions of all songs are not available, I keep us well stocked with the latest hits in addition to thousands of oldies.
