FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the level of craftsmanship, communication, and attention to detail that I bring to each project. I focus on providing quality work that lasts, not just the cheapest upfront option. Many of my customers have hired me after needing repairs or corrections from lower-cost work done previously, which is why I take pride in doing things correctly the first time. I aim to keep pricing fair and transparent, with clear communication about labor, materials, and project scope before work begins. Depending on the project, I may also offer bundled pricing or cost-saving options when multiple items are completed together.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process starts with a conversation about the project goals, timeline, and budget. From there, I usually ask for photos and a brief description of the work needed so I can determine whether I can provide an estimate remotely or if a walkthrough would be more appropriate. If needed, I’ll schedule an on-site visit to review the project in person, discuss options, and provide a detailed estimate. Once approved, I keep communication clear throughout the project so customers always know what to expect from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a combination of hands-on field experience, trade school training, and college education related to the construction industry. My background includes experience in plumbing, framing, HVAC, fabrication, finish carpentry, and general construction. Over the years, I’ve continued building my skill set through real-world project experience, specializing in custom millwork, home renovations, repairs, and detailed finish work. That combination of formal training and practical experience has given me a well-rounded understanding of both craftsmanship and problem solving on the job.
