Tempo Studios' team of talented musicians are sharing their passion and knowledge with aspiring musicians of all ages and levels of ability. Our teachers specialize in a vast array of instruments and genres of music. Teaching both in person and online allows us to reach people all over the world.
Get to Know Our Instructors:
Nick is the owner of Tempo Studios, and teaching music has always been his passion. He received a B.A. in Music Education at William Jessup University. His wide span of expertise ranges all the way from music theory to bagpipes. On top of teaching, he runs a rock band and a bagpipe band.
Seth is the head of Tempo Studio's audio production. His goal is to help artists reach their highest potential in their music. His enthusiasm makes the recording, mixing, and mastering process feel exciting and rewarding.
Chris is a fun and passionate music teacher. He has many years of experience teaching, leading worship, and composing pieces at William Jessup University. He is also a professional videographer and can direct and film music videos.

Anytime someone starts something new or meets new people it can feel awkward, but not with Nick! He is very charismatic and friendly, and was very knowledgeable on what I excelled at and what needed work. If you are looking for lessons, please check Nick out, and his band too!

Nick does a really great job teaching music. I am a somewhat experienced guitar player, but there is always something new to learn from him. It doesn't take long to notice how incredibly deep his understanding is, but that's not to say he's at all pompous. In fact, he very humble especially for all I know he's achieved (and I don't even know half of it yet). He's obviously very committed to your understanding and his pace is easy to manipulate. With most teachers, you will find your interest fading as you grow tired toward the end of your lesson, but I take two hour lessons from Nick and not once has he ever inspired a hint of boredom in our incredibly informative, enjoyable, and applicable time. He does a great job connecting what you're learning to various pieces and radiates optimism. If you're looking for the ability to understand music and apply it to creating, listening, or playing while smiling along the way, this is where to go.
