Olivia is an exceptional talent! Her innate creativity and attention to the customer's needs are tremendous. Olivia's skills were way beyond what I needed, but she was still happy to create several info graphics and a business logo for me which has received COUNTLESS compliments. Price was very reasonable and her turn around was lightning fast. Olivia has a great eye for design as well as a great ear to hear what the customer wants & needs. She combines these qualities to create a product you never knew was possible! Not only is Olivia a professional designer, she is also a genuinely awesome person! I will continue to use Olivia's services in the future and I recommend you do the same.
I went to Jen Franklin to create a website that needed to fulfill multiple functions. Her thoroughness, ability to listen, and skill in translating what I wanted into a clear path of action was superb. She's an excellent combination of sharp, smart design and in depth technical know how.
I used Tim to design my website as well as client websites. His work is highly professional and creative, and he is an absolute pleasure to work with. I especially appreciate his knowledge of current trends in website design, and quick and inventive solutions to both design and functional challenges. I highly recommend Tim for website design work.
Putting together a website can be a daunting task, finding the knowledgeable individual or company is even more complex. I did my research, looking for this person that can innovatively create, gracefully design and efficiently optimize my web site. From start to finish Brandy was able to guide me in a simple hassle-free manner with all the above procedures. Finding the correct motifs for my website, the proper message that I wanted to deliver to my audience and overarching structure of the website was easily achievable thanks to the expertise and efficacy of Brandy. I finally found a web developer that can put color, flavor and effectiveness to my project, we have been working on various designs such as logos, labels, web pages and we are currently optimizing my main website, implementing new strategy to make it more attractive for my audience. If you need a competent professional working with you from A to Z, Brandy is hands down the developer for the job.
I give California Website Developers and their team a 5 star rating and thumbs up for a terrific job they did on my web project. Other companies I went to didnt grasp my concept and were unable to do what I thought was a fairly straight forward script code writing part of the development. I realize that developers have different programming languages that they write code in, and I was willing to allow the developers to make that choice on their own. Even at that level, other firms were unable to grasp the concept and make the online software do what is was conceived to do. However, when I went with Kevin Shick at California Website Developers , he understood my company goals along with the concept. I knew he understood because he produced a project summary document that nailed it. Him and his team that were assigned to my project asked the right questions, and posted messages that were all in sync with the concept that I have been trying to explain to other development firms for over a year. Now I am using this product as a main part of my business model. It has increased productivity with the efficient tasks that it performs. I was also able to easily train my staff on the use of this new software platform, and it has become a daily part of our business operations. I cant say enough about how pleased I am with the results that California Website Developers has produced for me.
Marc was extremely professional and always wanted to add value. He exceeded my expectations, especially when the technology proved unpredictable.
Jonathan did an amazing job for me on several projects. He worked with me to identify my vision for the designs, and then crafted a final product that met all my needs. Jonathan was great through multiple revisions, installing fonts and graphics, and troubleshooting tech/software issues. I will continue to use Jonathan for all my graphic design needs.
Working with Lisa was great! She is professional, knows her stuff, works efficiently and delivered our project on a very tight timeline. I highly recommend working with LZ Designs.
Bill was awesome! Took input and requests for our desired photo locations.
Melissa designed my new website. Melissa comes to web design from a graphic designer's perspective. So, the website is particularly beautiful.
I hired China to design a picture of my dog and put it on a T-shirt. China is a talented designer and nice to communicate. I am very satisfied with her design.
Richard Nodine from PAC PRINT designed a graphics package for my business which was innovative, color creative, and client friendly. The production time was fast, and delivery was sooner than promised. I can recommend PAC PRINT to anyone wanting a superior source for their creative advertising and graphic needs.
DeNador Design & Photography can be rated beyond the 5 star maximum allowed on Thumbtack. If I could share the amazing experience I've had working with Dudley, quite frankly there wouldn't be enough space on this comment box. Let's just say, his experience, professionalism, quality of product and personality all come together in a perfect design and photography company. I would recommend DeNador Design & Photography to everyone without hesitation. Our hotel (major hotel brand) chose Dudley to take all new photos of our expansion and renovations. We also work with him for signage and posters. - Tom K., Director of Sales & Marketing (Major Hotel Brand) in Los Angeles, CA
The job took about 30 hours, Homeyra was super helpful with creative ideas and layout. Her work was always on time and the quality was exemplary. Communications were concise and clear, the development experience was a perfect and enjoyable service - no improvements needed.
Cherie is AMAZING, really :-) She helped me redesign my old, stale website. The design process was fun and helped me direct my message to fit a better customer base - given my new business goals. So far we've launched the website and now she's helping me get on track with an ongoing SEO plan. I'm not much of a marketer so having someone who knows how to work with search engines is a huge help. She's worked with larger companies in the past but has recently shifted back to working with smaller businesses. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her. She has an vast amount of knowledge and a great skill set - an excellent value given how many things she can help you with. You could hire 5 people to do what she can do. I'd definitely hire her again.
Travis did my website fast, affordable, and professional. The first week I had 3000+ hits and a lot of positive feedback. I highly recommend his services.
Nikki did an amazing job with our group of 14. Every picture was captured beautifully and with an eye for detail. Her professionalism was top notch. I especially loved the lighting she did to make our picture pop out.

Hi, I'm Harrison Pollock, a graphic designer, illustrator, and videographer based in San Francisco, California. I am a graduate of the California College of the Arts graphic design program and have had the opportunity to work with many Bay Area companies including Volume Inc., The American Conservatory Theater, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Jensen Architects, and more.
I am a professional photographer and educator. I have been teaching digital art and design for about a decade to youth and adults as well. My own artwork entails an interdisciplinary approach to multimedia and I have just received my MFA from John F. Kennedy University. Whether you are an experienced, traditional photographer or a novice, a technophobe or technophile, I can help you to achieve your desired creative results. I am an advanced user of Adobe Photoshop and have extensive experience in Dreamweaver and Flash.
Below is a summary of my educational background: * Master of Architecture, University of California, Berkeley, 1971 * Bachelor of Science in Psychology, University of Wisconsin, Madison, 1967 * Intern and Guide, Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, Oak Park, 1964 * Oak Park and River Forest High School, Oak Park, Illinois, 1963 I offer full design services which include site planning, schematic design, design development, construction drawings and services related to construction. My projects range in size from kitchens and baths to whole-house remodels including additions and new houses. Most are within the Bay Area, and most of these are within San Francisco itself, where I live. I usually do not accept work outside these areas. I have had over thirty years of experience working on design solutions that, first and most importantly, please my clients but which are, secondly, well received by the close-by neighbors, which is a key to thirdly, easier and faster acceptance by San Francisco's planning department (including the zoning administrator, in case a variance is involved). Although I have had a very high percentage of variance applications for clients that are approved, I also try to design to avoid having a variance be necessary, avoiding variances when possible. I am happy to explain more, show previous projects, etc. at an initial meeting at no charge. My clients appreciate how my designs can be either traditional (more contextual) or modern, depending on the context. My designs tend to mature into built projects that have manners and which are gracious good neighbors which co-exist easily with other older nearby houses. They have also been characterized as having curb appeal and are usually well received by neighbors for that very reason. A historic prototype is often helpful in grounding a design and instilling it with historic precedent as well as enhancing its wider appeal. On the interiors, I strive for light-filled and volume spaces, the use of materials including wood, synthetic stones and veneer plaster, and reasonably sized kitchens and baths. Lately, I have been designing green solutions using photovoltaic panels on the roofs and, if south facing, rear elevations in steel and glass, not being as restricted there nearly so much at the front, usually the public or street side, of the design.
