I have used many different counselors over the years, but none as professional or effective as Steve Gregor. I went to him for grief counseling, but his effectiveness has extended to all of my life. He is empathetic, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone.
Nancy helped me in processing letting go and loving well when my 18 year old daughter moved out with no notice. What impressed me the most was how she had the ability to draw out of me what I was looking for which was validation for my emotions and encouragement for my boundaries I chose to set do to the way my daughter left home. Nancy is without a doubt one of the best counselors I have ever met.
He was wonderful! He is very professional and seeks to help the couple all along the planning process through to your wedding day. What's stands out is how much he truly cares about you. You can tell he does this with the intention of helping couples. He also did premarital counseling for us and we truly made a friend in him. He is a real friend who is there whenever you need him most. When a mistake was made on our marriage license (not his mistake), he was there to help work it out for us without hesitation. Overall, he was knowledgeable, helpful, and truly cares about the people he works with. We were lucky to have him as our counselor and wedding officiant. We highly suggest him!
Dr. Paul Joseph Yang is a tireless worker for the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has a heart for the journey of the Hmong in America. His doctoral thesis focuses on a theology of liberation for the Hmong that helps the community find hope, strength and resource through their shared history of Exodus from Laos to the camps in Thailand and after years in the camps, migration to America. Today the children of the Exodus, the 1.5 generation are raising families, seeking a spiritual path and finding their way forward while their children, the second generation are coming of age and achieving amazing success in the new culture. Rev. Yang provides resources for these families in bridging the culture; navigating the relations between elders, parents and children all of whom are struggling to retain important and essential cultural values while also adapting to new mores, gender roles, and the cultural values of this society that can be in stark contrast to traditional understandings. Skilled in navigating these issues, Pastor Yang restores family respect, dignity, unity and self understanding while upholding the value of education, love of neighbor and respect for all. I have worked with Dr. Yang for many years and witnessed his intelligent, competent, faithful diligence on behalf of the Hmong community and transforming hope we have in the good news of Jesus Christ.
Although I've known Raj since I was little, my husband met him for the first time over some "face-time" conversations, and then 2 days before the wedding. Geographically we were on completely opposite ends of the continent: FL and CA. But regardless of how far away we were, Raj was a guiding and calming presence in our planning. The most defining question he asked me during my planning was, "At the end of the day, when the flowers and decorations are picked, try to plan for the moment: how do you want to feel that day, in that moment, and what do want to walk away with?" I said those exact words to a friend that just got married this past weekend which helped her focus on what's important. Weddings can get crazy and chaotic, there's a lot of people in one place and emotions are high. My rehearsal was in the hot sun and everyone just wanted to eat, I'm sure! Raj had everyone get in circle and center themselves and their energy... my husband was really impressed with how he managed that and loved his presence from that moment on! In fact, everyone at my wedding, family and friends, all connected with Raj and loved him. He has an amazing way of reaching out to people. You will never feel judged or scrutinized, only lifted up and empowered for who you are. And at the end of the day, no amount of beauty came from the flowers, the cake, the photography... it all came from what we made it. Our anniversary is in 5 days and I look back remembering all his advice and guidance and he truly MADE it the wedding that we wanted, filled with love and happiness with our family and friends. We are so thankful to have had his presence and involvement in our wedding, it was a huge gift to us!
Only met with her once , but I've been to several other therapists and experience with expertise is critical for me. I think if my husband and I commit to her interventions and real-life plan , things might actually turn around in amazing ways . Excited to start and will review follow up

Whether you are going through a stressful period in your life or simply want to take steps towards personal growth my hope is to walk along side you in that journey. One of my main goals as a counselor is to offer a safe, non-judgmental, environment to explore your deepest thoughts and feelings as well as offer unconditional support. I understand how difficult it can be to open up and share your struggles with another person. While taking that first step may feel scary I hope it is a moment we can celebrate together. I collaborate with my clients to develop therapeutic goals in order to discover what may work best. While my approach is rooted in Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I often use other tools to personalize the process for my clients. I work with individuals, adolescents, and families. I have experience addressing issues such as: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, family-related issues, self-harm, behavioral issues, major life transitions, grief, relationship issues, and personal growth. I am also certified in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I feel honored that my clients allow me to walk beside them on their journey. One of my main goals as a counselor is to build a safe space that allows clients to explore their thoughts and emotions with out judgement.
I work with individuals, couples, and children. I'm passionate about bringing peace, happiness, love, hope, security, and self-confidence back to the client and bringing out strengths the couple's relationship already has and working through the struggles they may not be aware of. Often times, clients come in feeling stuck. They don't like their career, they are struggling in their relationship, or the past is now causing pain in the present. I enjoy being on the journey through the rough and coming out to a place of peace with them. I have special interests working with Individuals and couples experiencing infertility, First Responders, & Veterans. Therapy should be enjoyable! I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques in my practice. It's important to me to be able to cater to the needs of my clients. Every client is different so creating individual treatment plans is important to the success of the client. I believe the most difficult part of therapy is making that initial phone call. The rest is a conversation over a cup of tea! Along with taking an integrated therapeutic approach with clients, I have experience working with trauma. I believe trauma can leave lingering effects that cause disruptions in ourselves and our relationships. I'm trained in EMDR. This is one effective approach to working through difficult experiences. I also enjoy leading Infertility Support Groups. New groups beginning February 2017. Please visit the website for additional information. There is never a better feeling then when a client feels they've accomplished their goals with therapy or they feel they have built up a community with peers from support groups that they can now lean on for support.

Many other therapist say that they work with couples, but very few in this area were specifically and in depthly trained, in their masters program, to work with relationships. I was required to log 500 supervised relationship hours while in school. This is unique to the field and makes me more qualified than most in this region. Also I am a confident, direct, and interactive therapist. I won't just sit and listen and throw out a peice of advice at the end. We work together, practice in the room and get specific direct feedback about your progress as we work. Also, you don't have to fear about me advising you to divorce or break up. I will work for your relationship even when it's tough for you to keep doing it. However, if you both agree to end the relationship, I will support you through that process. I love working with couples and families. Watching them think, feel, and behave differently toward their significant other is highly satisfying! We laugh, cry, and work hard together. Watching their hard work pay off with greater satisfaction in all areas of their life is the best part of my job!
