- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a two hour minimum for all our events. We charge $175 for two hours. We charge extra for SOME corporate events that require tents for shade, tables, chairs and stations to control the line. We will also charge a small travel fee if the event is farther than 10 miles, or there are parking fees. Corporate events are different than small private parties. There is parking, entrance issues, equipment to haul from the parking lot, and set up and clean up, will usually take an extra hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We need to know things... is there shade? Is it in a safe area of town? Indoors or outside. How many children? There is a huge difference between a small birthday party with 10 kids at home and a huge corporate event with hundreds of kids waiting in line.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are lots of conventions, instructors and trade magazines available. At Just For Fun Art in Sacramento we have a retail store for professional make-up and special effects. We also have a Jam the first Monday or every month. Artists from all over the Sacramento and Bay area get together and teach each other new skills and designs.
