Jay was very quick to respond, give me a bid, and started the job all within one week! He was very thorough in explaining what he was bidding on and keeping me informed as to work needed. We had a change order, as there was a problem with how the shed roof was done that he couldn't see until parts of the roof were removed. They still finished in one day. They left the yard clean and picked up. I highly recommend Jay's Construction.

Highly recommend Jason. I initially contacted him to evaluate some concerns with my siding, but during the inspection he discovered dry rot under a corner of the eave. That shifted our attention to the roof, where he identified several problems from previous repairs, including poor workmanship and low-quality materials.
Jason was very responsive throughout the entire process and took the time to explain what he found, what actually needed to be fixed, and why. He never tried to oversell me or convince me to do work that wasn’t necessary, which I really appreciated.
He repaired the problem areas using quality materials, including lead patches, cleaned and properly sealed the roof valleys, and replaced old roof exhaust vents that had also been providing entry points for mice into the attic.
The difference between his work and some of the previous repairs was very noticeable. He also went beyond the roof work and dug a drainage trench to connect my downspout and divert rainwater away from the house. He was thorough, practical, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the underlying problems were addressed rather than just patched over.
Overall, I had a very positive experience with Jason. He was knowledgeable, honest, responsive, and did quality work. I would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to anyone needing roofing, drainage, or exterior home repairs.
