Burritos to Fengshui Language Services

Introduction: I am a multilingual language tutor who is able to explain and bridge the language gap that many native English speakers may feel in other language learning environments using their own experience. When the 'light goes on' with language, it makes my work all worth it. I learned Spanish in school (eight years between high school and college) as well as from teenage work trips to Mexico and Costa Rica. Also, I worked in export to Latin America for over a year. The bulk of my language learning of Mandarin was in the US Navy, practically immersed for two years and have studied in China for six weeks in a Beijing school of economics. I am interested in teaching people language for business and pleasure trips, tutoring that will supplement book learning, providing interpretation services both in the US and abroad as well as ad hoc translations into English from Spanish and Chinese.
