Introduction: My extensive background in teaching photography and working with kids and families of all different ages and background allows me to get a closer look at their lives. My passion for others allows me to gain a deeper understanding of who they are and then pull that out through my images. I don't want to just capture the photo, I want the photo to capture you. I love working with all different types of people. From kids to bands to graduates and aspiring fashionistas, I always enjoy going on shoots and getting to know their back story.

My first experience with Kate was when I hired her to shoot my wedding. She got the most incredible shots. She has such a creative eye and made my wedding day that much more memorable! She even traveled from a few hours away. I was blown away by her skill. Last year, I hired her to shoot a golf tournament my company hosted for our customers. She was extremely professional and was able to get great shots of our happy customers. We ended up framing them to give as gifts during the holiday season. Our experience with Kate was, and continues to be, exceptional. She has been extremely professional from the very beginning, laying things out in a way that is very straightforward and reasonable. When it comes to taking photos, Kate is extremely organized and makes great use of time. One thing I really like about Kate's photography is how unique her ideas are. She is always thinking of new ways to be creative and how to show her subjects in a way that represents their personality. When it came to our wedding, Kate did a phenomenal job. Her and her assistant covered all the "normal" wedding shots while simultaneously capturing some amazing candid moments that we had no idea about until we saw the pictures. My wife and I couldn't be more happy with our experience and we will continue to use Kate's services whenever we want a new set of amazing and unique photos!

I had a great experience getting my professional head shots from Kate. As a new Chiropractor (and very camera shy), Kate was able to instruct me on good poses for my website, business cards, and other marketing material needed as a young professional. She offers a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and makes you feel very comfortable through the session. Would highly recommend!

No. My pricing is 100% dependent on what your needs are and what your budget is.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would love to start with a phone call to hear about your wedding and give you a formal quote. Then we would just continue to get to know one another and work together so you get exactly what you want out of your day!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides constantly doing shoots for fun and playing around with my camera, I am currently enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography (distance education division). Taking classes or workshops as well as attending seminars really helps me stay up on the current technology and trends of the industry.
