I am a professional concert pianist who has studied piano for 20 years. I regularly perform with California orchestras and chamber groups including the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, the Symphony d’Oro (Rancho Cordova), and the Camellia Symphony Orchestra. As one half of the chamber music duo “Carlos & Brennen,” I won First Prize at the international Golden Classical Music Awards and made my Carnegie Hall debut in March, 2018.
I teach in a wide range of styles but primarily specialize in classical, pop, gospel, musical theatre, and R&B.
I offer competitive prices for the Los Angeles market. Rates are:
Children 5-12
- $120/mo. (4 lessons, $30/30min.)
- $40 per one-off lesson
Ages 13+
- $240/mo. (4 lessons, $60/60min.)
- $80 per one-off lesson
Lessons are virtual (via Zoom) till further notice.
If you are interested in it, we can do it! I have taught the fundamentals of music theory, ear training, and strong technique through a diverse repertoire of works since 2011, and apply skills through a wide variety of styles. What are your musical aims? They will be our focus!
You are always welcome and encouraged to bring your own pieces to lessons, but work equally on your assignments from me!
