FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer an introductory session for $35, which is a low-pressure way to experience my teaching style and see if working together feels like a good fit. The intro session is 45 minutes and includes time to explore your voice as well as space at the end to talk through next steps and options. Ongoing sessions are priced to encourage consistency, since the voice responds best to regular practice. I’m always happy to explain options clearly so you can choose what feels supportive and sustainable for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually begin with an intro session, where I learn about your goals, experience, and relationship with your voice. From there, we explore some vocal exercises together so you can get a feel for my approach. After the session, we talk through next steps — whether that’s weekly lessons, a special new-student foundations package, or something else that fits your needs. Everything is collaborative, and there’s no pressure to commit beyond what feels right.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m certified in Somatic Voicework™ (Levels I, II & III) and have over 8.5 years of ongoing study and training in Speech Level Singing. My background also includes training in sound healing and therapeutic vocal techniques, as well as mantra meditation and embodied voice practices. In addition, I have completed 1,000+ hours of yoga teacher training and education, which informs my holistic, body-based approach to the voice. This allows me to support alignment, ease, and nervous system awareness as part of healthy vocal development. I’ve also participated in various vocal workshops and continued studies with artists and teachers including Simrit, Mary Isis, Cari Cole, and others. My work blends functional vocal technique with embodied and creative practices to support sustainable, expressive vocal growth.
