We would highly recommend Amber to anyone planning their wedding! We hired her for day-of coordination and she did an outstanding job for a very reasonable price. Her services encompassed so many things: in meeting with our venue coordinator, she ironed out lots of questions we would not have thought to ask, gave us great advice on how long parts of the wedding would take, she took care of renting and setting up speakers for the ceremony, and so much more. We had rain and high wind forecast for our wedding day, so the ceremony location and some other aspects of the day were up in the air until the last minute, but Amber handled everything (including the rather anxious bride!) with complete grace. Her sense of professionalism and desire to get everything right helped us relax and know that everything was taken care of. Amber fulfilled of all of our requests leading up to our wedding and went well above and beyond on our wedding day. Thank you so much Amber!Sep 7, 2019VerifiedOnce Upon a Wedding's reply
Hi Jessica! Thanks so much for taking your time to write a review for me! Reviews really help me show future awesome clients like yourself how I can help them see their wedding dreams come to reality. I appreciate you!
Amber and Aubrey were amazing to work with during the planning of our wedding. Aubrey was super organized and took full control of executing everything perfectly. I highly recommend using Everyday Events. I know we will use them for future events.Aug 3, 2019VerifiedOnce Upon a Wedding's reply

I hired Amber and Katelynn for my wedding reception. I did not have a wedding coordinator but I have a big family who like to take charge. I know between my 5 sisters, my daughter and my best friend that Amber and Katelynn were probably told to do conflicting things multiple times, which must have been very frustrating. However, they were very professional, patient and helpful the entire night. A lot of my family and friends mentioned how professional and helpful they were. I would definitely use them again. It was wonderful to have them help us on our wedding day. Very professional and reliable help!Apr 23, 2019VerifiedOnce Upon a Wedding's reply
Carolyn, it was wonderful working with you AND your family! They all cared so much about making sure your day was amazing - they were a joy to work with :D
My husband and I were intending to be married back in May 2020 but with everything that has happened, we postponed. We didn’t want to wait too long so we opted for a small but socially distanced and masked ceremony with immediate family only. We found Amber via Thumbtack and after reading all the wonderful reviews we reached out. She was so pleasant to work with and her experience and expertise made me feel so comfortable. We had a more spiritual ceremony but had some nods to our Christian upbringings. Amber wrote a beautiful ceremony and I couldn’t have been happier. I definitely recommend working with her! Thanks Amber!Aug 30, 2020VerifiedOnce Upon a Wedding's reply
Thank you so much for taking time out of your weekend, the day after your wedding, for writing a review for me! I really loved working with and getting to know you both. I'm proud of you guys and am excited for your future together!! Love you guys!!!
Amber and Erin were great, very nice, easy going made the wedding party feel very comfortable. A few hours before the wedding i received a call from Amber that she had thrown her back out and was not going to be able to make it but she already had a backup all lined up. To be honest, I was freaking out a little because we had already rehearsed with her but Amber assured me that Erin was highly recommend and that we were in good hands. Everything worked our Erin was great! Amber followed up to see how thing went and I couldn’t be any happier with the both of them.Apr 8, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We want to help you get married with as little stress and worry as possible. We don't believe you should have to cut service to stay within your budget. Our prices are intentionally set to reflect the average cost for services in our market so that you can get the best service for the best price! We're now offering virtual officiating planning "Micro Monies", as coined by The Knot, at 50% the regular price so we can help brides keep their original dates. As a Veteran-Owned business, we are honored to work with other veterans and first-responders and will continue offering 15% off regularly prices services once we're able to perform full, in-person weddings again.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A couple's wedding day is about more than just getting people together to watch a ceremony, eat food, and dance. It is an expression of the love that the two of you share and marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in your relationship! Our clients usually reach out in email to schedule a day and time to chat over the phone before meeting in person to get into the details. After meeting we will send a formal proposal for review. Proposals are valid for 30 days and a 50% deposit is typically due within 10 days of signing the agreement, to hold the date. We understand that the future is a bit uncertain right now and are waiving the deposit deadline required to hold your date. Instead, we will hold your date until we receive a request from another couple. If that happens, we'll reach out to you to allow you to cover your deposit and keep your date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Organization, efficiency, and creativity in my work has always driven me to find the work that it best-suited for my talents. I've dedicated my life to personal and professional development through lots of reading, attending conferences and seminars, online training, receiving mentoring from other pros in the industry and aligning myself with the Association for Wedding Professionals International. Working with brides to help see their wedding day dreams turn to reality utilizing spreadsheets and calendars and managing logistics allows me to work in my strengths and find great satisfaction!
