FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unfortunately nothing in this business is standard. On average though.. A common broken window can run $125-225 for the material and labor. An average new window can run about $225. Cost For cleaning inside, outside and screens run usually around $10 per window.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer it is important to be clear on exactly what they want. Many times a quote could be done over the phone. When dealing with a new customer I try and make it a point to try and meet in person so I can get a better understanding of who they are and what they want. It helps the customer by being able to put a face to the name, know who SAC City Glass is and what they represent.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With over 20 years in the window and glass business, I feel comfortable with my experience level to tackle about any job. At early age of 17 I started at the Home Depot. After about a year of pushing carts I made my way to door and window department. Where I stayed for next 4 years.. after the HD I went to work for a specialty window shop catering to contractors and owner builders. The owner had me work in the field a few years before moving to a sales position. That job was 15 years of learning, and may say mastering the residential/ multi family & commercial window and door market.
