I had a very loud, annoying, and squeaky bathroom floor. Just bought new floors and needed a repair right away so that we could install the new floor. Tom called us back while he was still on vacation and came our right away. Gave me a great price and did a great job! He has a great attitude, honest personality, and we will use him again.

I would highly recommend Todd for wood furniture refinishing. I had a table that I wanted a curio cabinet to match, even though they were different woods. He explained my options given the cabinet wood type and table finish, disassembled the cabinet, brought over two test colors to confirm my color preference, completed the cabinet on time and reassembled it in my home. It came out even more beautifully than expected -- thanks for your expertise!

Have had Mr. McGillis do a couple of things for us now (closet shelves and a tub spout replacement) and will be asking him back very soon to assemble some steel garage shelving. He's punctual, precise, and driven towards perfection. But he's also open to suggestions. He took my proposed plans for the heavy-duty closet shelves, made a few tweaks, and executed the whole thing flawlessly (no mean feat considering he wasn't dealing with true 90 degree corners). More importantly, he's a pleasure to be around -- you can spend a lot of time with a handyman and you want someone that's friendly and outgoing, and that's Mr. McG. Mr. McG is now a permanent part of our "home improvements" folder as our go-to handyman.

Albert was excellent, and I would hire him again or recommend him to my friends. I hired him to remove all the moving boxes and packing paper left behind after a move, as well as several items of furniture. He was prompt, worked very quickly (pickup took about 20 minutes), and stuck to his estimate. He was also friendly and professional.

Rick has completed several projects in my home, both inside and outside. These include structural repair and repairing/replacing drywall, trim replacement and finishing, ceiling fan installation, painting, installation of wood flooring, pulling coax cabling for internet, installing light in attic, adding an electrical outlet, replacing shower control, and replacing a broken drainage pipe outdoors. The quality of Rick’s work is excellent. His estimates are generally very accurate. Any deviation is explained, usually offering alternatives to the way the work can be completed possible. Rick will offer suggestions and sometimes indicate that doing a particular task is not really necessary or is too expensive for the return. His habits are very neat and pride in his work is evident. He is congenial, hard working, and a pleasure to have working in the home.

Alex did arrived on time and did an even better than expected job removing a dishwasher that could not clear the stone tile flooring a previous owner had installed. We thought its removal would require sawing through some of the stone tile flooring to provide clearance. Alex instead was able to saw enough of the wood frame above to allow space for the dishwasher removal. He also helped move the old dishwasher into the garage to make room for the installation of a new dishwasher. He cleaned up afterwards and was a pleasure to do business with. Five stars to Alex!

My experience with CDS was nothing but positive from the first conversation regarding project specifications to the delivery of my hope chest and rocking chair. Not only did Craig complete the work in a timely manner, he also delivered them (free of charge) beautifully restored for a very reasonable price. He is also a heck of a nice guy! My enthusiastic endorsement of CDS Company for your furniture restoration and refinishing needs.

Lee came to our house at the time he promised. He brought two men and they loaded our furniture on his flat bed trailer quickly and safely. The entire experience didn't take long at all. The cost of removing this furniture was very reasonable and I recommend Lee's services to any and all. Dick Reynolds

We've had Stephen do two projects for us: - Refinishing a dresser/changing table - Refinishing a small chest of drawers/nightstand We were more than pleased with the work and service. We delivered the items to him, and he got the work done within the timeframe quoted. Stephen definitely knows his craft, and will give good advice and recommendations on what can be done to best achieve the result you're looking for. It's nice to know a service provider with the integrity he possesses, as well--he's very honest, and genuinely seemed to care more about us being satisfied than making a buck. I'd recommend Wood & Hand in a heartbeat.
