Baypro e-mailed me within minutes of my request for services. He said he could come by around 11:00 a.m. He knocked on my front door exactly at that time. After viewing what I wanted taken away, he lowered his quote. He and his partner were done before 12 noon (This included our initial discussion and total cleanup). They also swept up the area after themselves. I was very impressed with their workmanship, the quote, and their professionalism. I have entered their phone number into my cell phone because I will definitely be calling them again when I have another job and will happily refer them to anyone who looks for their type of service.

While searching the internet for someone to remove our 12-year-old carpet from our two-bedroom flat, I found many referrals for carpet installation and floor refinishing, but nothing for carpet removal only. I then ran across a listing from Thumbtack, and thought I’d give it a try. The site was very easy to use. It asked me specific questions regarding the job, and within minutes I received emails from three people in my area that included price quotes. I chose one (Brian’s Handyman Services) and communicated further with Brian to clarify details. He booked the job for the next day. Brian sent me a text stating that he was on his way, and he arrived on time. He brought Carlos with him and the two of them began working immediately. If you’ve ever removed carpet, you know it’s a tedious job: it includes pulling up the carpet and pad, cutting them into pieces, pulling out all of the staples from the floor, removing the tack strips, and disposing of the carpet and pad. Brian and Carlos not only did that, but they moved our large pieces of furniture around in order to accomplish it. When they left, there was NO mess for us to clean up. Furniture was back into place and floors were swept. Brian even bolted four large pieces of furniture back onto the wall that had to be unbolted and moved in order to remove the carpet under them. Brian stuck with his original quote, even though the job turned out to be larger than expected. I can’t say enough kind things about Brian and Carlos and the professional job they did. They were fantastic! If you want someone who is honest, fair, flexible, and easy to work with, I highly recommend Brian’s Handyman Services for anything you need done at your home—and it sounds like he can do everything. Matthew did a wonderful job on out basement remodel project. His customer service was excellent. He was always on time, a great communicator and easy to work with. He ran the job very smoothly, accommodating our schedules and ensuring that the project moved forward in an organized and systematic way.There were no cost over runs or mistakes. If we encountered any obstacles, he immediately handled them. His team also was diligent and efficient. The project ended up coming out much better than we expected. We would use Matthew again for any construction needs.

I chose to go with OrganicMaid for apartment cleaning services since they were the first ones to respond to my Thumbtack post and had same-day availability. Kauana showed up on time, brought all the cleaning supplies needed, and did a thorough cleaning job. She was efficient and friendly. I appreciated that the cleaning was charged as a flat fee as quoted up front (including cleaning the inside of my oven and refrigerator). I feel like I got a good value and better results than I have with other cleaning companies. Would definitely use again!
We used Jasmin's services for a drywall and paint job, to redo a bedroom ceiling drywall and crown moldings, and repaint all the room - they did a fantastic job: timely, very high quality and fair price. Second time I employ them and I intend to continue doing so!
