Introduction: Hi! My name's Corey Townley. I am a drum instructor serving San Clemente, Rancho Santa Margarita and surrounding areas. In my opinion, everyone should play a musical instrument. Since you can't have music without rhythm, allow me to help you fulfill your musical goals.
I have offered private drum and percussion instruction for over 17 years in
South Orange County with about 60 students currently under my wing.
Whether you are playing in school, in a band or just for fun it is my goal
to help you excel. Here are some examples of what you will learn:
-drum-set (rock, jazz, blues, Latin, double bass, etc...)
-how to jam with other musicians
-correct technique
-rudiments
-your favorite songs
-drum-line(I offer summer camps as well)
-note reading and writing(not just tab)
-stick tricks/showmanship

Corey is a life saver. Not only is he teaching my family to play drums but he also put together our brand new drum set in about an hour. It would have probably taken us 8 hours. He gave us plenty of tips and tricks and is an amazing teacher and drums player
