I am an experienced dog trainer with a training degree (Animal Behavior College). I am a member of AKC and APDT I specialize in difficult cases and am an expert in training for CGC (canine good citizen) as well as therapy and service dog certification. I love working with dogs and helping owners accomplishing their training goals.

After working with 3 other trainers, I can confidently say that Mike has been the best one, by far. Our dog Casper used to bark and lunge at strangers and other dogs. We were constantly running away and avoiding situations that would trigger him. With just 10 days with Uncle Mike, he now nicely meets other dogs and asks for pets from strangers. We always knew our dog Casper was very sweet, but we're so happy that now others can see that side of him as well. Mike is a dog whisperer, and we cannot recommend him enough. Our dog, Zeus, has just started with Mike. So far, it's been awesome. Mike has identified the areas where Zeus needs training. Not only is Zeus learning, but we're learning things as well. I would recommend K9 Positive Training to anyone who has any challenges that they need fixed. As a matter of fact, Zeus does not want to leave the training facility! Like a kid at Disneyland!!

Mike worked with dog, Rocco, and I to prepare for the CGC test. He is not only an excellent trainer, who has perfected his skill set and demonstrates passion combined with eternal patience, he is very personable and caring. He was just as invested in Rocco's success as I was. I could not recommend him more highly. We hope to continue training with Mike and go on to take therapy dog and maybe service dog tests in the future.

I can’t recommend Mike to train your dog highly enough. Here’s why: When we weren’t looking, a Yorkie Poo youngster we named Buddy found us at midnight in a parking lot. After the local humane society had no ‘owner’ come forward, we adopted him. Adorable in many ways, Buddy soon confessed his issues. To name a few - He bit when you touched his feet, when combed, when his flanks got touched. He lunged on leash. He barked too much. Buddy was also afraid of other dogs, especially larger ones. We were feeling hopeless, then we found Mike. Mike combined skilled training techniques with compassionate patience to work with us all - Buddy and us humans. Within a month, Buddy was on track to soon get his AKA STAR Puppy certificate. Utter transformation. And through Mike’s supervised ‘doggy day-care’, Buddy quickly got comfortable playing with dogs of all sizes. Thanks to Mike, Buddy is one happy, secure family member who literally smiles when asked to do something!

Thank you, this was the worst trip coming back with the trailer and my mind was at ease when you allowed them to stay another night. You will be the only person I call to keep my babies when needed. Just watching the video you sent for the first time, I can't believe Destini is playing and running with the other dogs. Mr Mike they will most definitely be back, she's running like a pup not a 9 year old with the others! Thank you so much 😊!
