Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does floor epoxy cost?

On average, installing floor epoxy in your garage costs between $1,870 and $2,700. This price will depend on the size of your floor, as well as the current condition of the concrete. If the pro has to repair cracked concrete or clean significant stains, the cost will likely be higher. If you’d like to add color, decorative chips or features for anti-skid properties, you will likely pay more.

Reviews for San Diego epoxy flooring installation professionals
James J.
There are not enough nice things to say about Supreme Garage Flooring. I have been working with lots of contractors recently and had a lot of problems. Not with John. He does outstanding work. He is humble and courteous. I attempted to apply the epoxy myself the first time. Something about my garage floor was causing discoloration in different spots. Some areas looked lighter than others. John came out and tried to fix it. It kept resulting in the same problem. He even took it down to concrete and started from scratch which was more work for him, but did not ask for anymore money. He just asked that I buy the kits. He even called the paint company, Rustoleum. However, Rustoleum does not seem to know their own products very well. He ended up recommending a different color and style, a metallic color that has an abstract design. He sanded the dark gray coat and then applied the metallic over the dark gray. It hid all of the imperfections caused by the garage floor and came out looking very nice. The light gray photo was at the start of the coating. You can even see the old expoxy color. As the paint dried, it started to darken more. I also had the garage door closed down some. See the other 2 photos. The last photo is with the door open. I don't usually like to recommend people to others, but I definitely recommend Supreme Garage Flooring!!
