I took private classes from Fabian for a few months and really enjoyed his energy and wit. My schedule forced me to stop for a while but I believe I did make progress with him. He is intense when needed and funny otherwise! Being a native Colombian speaker really makes a difference. I did 90 minute classes in my office which allowed us to cover a lot of material at one session. You will like Fabian!

Lynne Feldman is a very patient and experienced teacher who puts a lot of dedication into understanding her students' weaknesses. She adapted her classes to my individual needs by focusing on the language used in my professional area, using material specific to my personal interests and providing lots of practical advice. Lynne's classes are fun and that helps overcome the difficulties of learning a new language.

I started spanish in a class-group environment and the pace wasn’t just working for me. I then started private lesson with Laura and immediately improved my conversational skills. Laura is very patient and dedicated, flexible in her educational approach so she tailored the lessons to my goal (an upcoming trip to Mexico). Laura is also very personable so the lessons, most of the times, turned into very pleasant conversations in spanish which allowed me to progress quicker. Overall Laura is a fantastic teacher and I highly recommend her.

I worked with Tracy while tutoring in Beverly Hills. Tracy's special, insightful approach is smooth and professional, but above all, is the most effective approach I have ever witnessed or heard of. Don't pass up a chance to work with Tracy. She has a unique touch that gets results quickly, without a lot of fuss. Just straight to the point and her students really win!!

Desiree and her team are the best. My daughter was having trouble with Physics and Geometry concepts, that's when we found Club Z and Rachel. Mia's grades in both classes went from a hard C to a solid A, in only 2 months! I would recommend Club Z! to everyone I know that may need a tutor. Thanks Club Z! Looking forward to working with you this summer and beyond. So grateful.

Rose did an excellent job teaching vocational English to two groups of supervisory people at a manufacturing company. They all liked her and said they got a lot out of her classes. She was professional in every way, including handling the scheduling of classes, and was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely ask Rose to teach for us again.

MathWizJohn’s has been such a tremendous help throughout my college years, and I am forever grateful for the tutoring and guidance I was able to receive through this organization. Ever since my freshman year (currently a junior), this program has helped my friends and I succeed in some of the most difficult classes at SDSU. Accounting 201 & 202, Econ 101 & 102, Math 120, and Fin 323 are just some of the classes I have received tutoring for. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with his or her studies--not only in mathematics but in any course you’re having trouble in. I am now on the Dean’s List and active in a few academic clubs on campus, and I wouldn’t be here without the help of MathWizJohn’s! -AhnaMia Business Major SDSU

Josh is a wonderful tutor. He helped my daughter go from an F to a B in one month of college algebra. He taught her in a way she could comprehend. I will be using him again in the fall for her Calculus class.

Engagement is one of the keys. A true teacher awakes immediate interest for the subject to every one of his (her) students. This comes more from true knowledge, ability, love and passion for giving to others what you know.

About

Buongiorno! Buenos Dias! Hello! I am an expert foreign language teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching, learning and using languages for business: writing, editing, interpreting and translating. I am passionate about languages and how they enrich our lives. I approach language teaching or learning contextually, rather than grammatically, with a student-centered focus. What does that mean? That means my teaching method is highly interactive, and I will get you talking right away, and learning to use and appreciate a language through topics and materials relevant to your life; and through music, film, culture, and real-life content, based on your needs and interests. See my website for student testimonials and my tips on language learning. I offer: * Private Lessons in person and live online * Travel workshops * Classes * Weekly Italian Study Group I teach: * Adults * Children * Students * Home-schoolers * Business people * Travelers I am proficient, fluent and have mastery in Italian, Spanish, and English. I have lived, worked and taught in the U.S., Spain, and Milan, Italy, where I began my teaching career and resided for 9 years. I hold a current California Teaching Credential, and am up to date on the latest foreign language teaching methods and theories. To verify my license from this site, see link on the right, and use the name Jodi L Hahn. Pricing: * Individual private lessons online cost $30.00 per hour. Packages Per Hour Cost Save 5 lessons $29.00 $145.00 $5.00 10 lessons $27.00 $270.00 $30.00 20 lessons $25.00 $500.00 $100.00 Individual private lessons in person cost $40.00 per hour. Packages Per Hour Cost Save 5 lessons $39.00 $195.00 $5.00 10 lessons $37.00 $370.00 $30.00 20 lessons $35.00 $700.00 $100.00 Advantages in learning online: I find that learning online is actually very enjoyable and effective. The advantages of learning a language online are many; first of all, results. Many online students report they are better able to concentrate on the lesson. During our classes, I'll have you talking, listening, reading and writing. Hearing the live voice of a proficient speaker through your headset makes a huge difference. There are no interference from classmates or external noises to interrupt you. Plus, I use the chat board to type new words, questions, and sentences to accompany the words that are spoken. Skype even allows me to share files, views of my screen, and guide you to useful sites on the internet.

About

It's easy to do the bare minimum or submit mediocre work just to get paid. That type of thinking is not acceptable in my world. In all of my past work, I do "above and beyond"--meet the client's imagination in design or prose, and then take it a step further.
