Introduction: Hi, I'm Jam Marie! Wifey, mommy of two, and a fur mama. Coffee is what saves my day. I'm passionate about all things photography especially capturing all those raw and unposed moments. I'm more than just your photographer that takes pictures on your wedding day, or with your family, or even if it's just yourself! Jam is a a WONDERFUL photographer but also an AMAZING human being. Not only is she super organized, thorough and phenomenal, she is a DREAM to work with. She instantly makes you feel like family and puts you at ease. My bf and I never had professional photos taken before and we were extremely nervous for our engagement shoot. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am San Diego based, but I'm open to travel wherever location you desire! Be it on the mountains, hiking, in the forest (I might be up for that LOL) you name it! Travel fees will be added on top of the session fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always make sure me and my clients are a good match to create together for their big day! I mostly prefer consultation meet-ups. But we can also Skype or Facetime if distance won't allow us just yet! We can talk about wedding or non-wedding related stuff or just about anything until you decide if you want to hire me ;)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started with nature and landscape photography. 10 years ago when my bestfriend asked me to capture her story on her wedding day, that's where my love of observing human connection and creating timeless images started.
