I hired Vesta Builders for a kitchen remodel in my Hillcrest home in San Diego after a flood pushed me to finally update the space. After meeting with several general contractors, Julian stood out right away with his knowledge and clear vision. He walked me through options for removing a wall and even had backup plans, which gave me a lot of confidence going into the project.
The transformation is incredible. They were able to remove the wall, which opened up the kitchen and allowed for a larger bar with seating, plus a lot more cabinet space. I also added new flooring, beautiful countertops, a proper kitchen hood, and a microwave drawer, which made the layout much more functional. It truly feels like a gourmet kitchen now.
Throughout the entire process, communication was consistent and reliable. Julian was always available, present on the project, and made everything feel organized and under control. I highly recommend Vesta Builders to anyone in San Diego looking for a kitchen remodel or general contractor.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into remodeling because I enjoyed the combination of construction, design, problem-solving, and working directly with homeowners. Over time, I saw that one of the biggest frustrations homeowners face isn’t just the construction itself, but managing all the decisions, communication, trades, design, and permitting that come with it.
That became a big part of how we built Vesta Builders: creating a more organized, hands-on remodeling experience from the initial planning through construction.
