FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelors of Science In Audio Production from the Art Institute of San Diego in October last year. It was a 4 year program where I learned about Music Theory, The current state of the music industry, recording, mixing, mastering, live sound, and even studio engineering. I now am continually keeping up with the NAMM convention and what new products they are releasing each year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since I was little, I always had an affliction for anything music. Before I could barely talk, I would be messing with the Bass/Treble knobs on my Dad's stereo speakers and singing along to my favorite Classic Rock songs. I've always had this deep desire to become a lifelong musician, and I've never turned my back on that dream since. Throughout my middle and high school years, I spent alot of time trying to start different bands and improving upon playing cover songs to writing my own songs. It wasn't until midway through my first year at college that I decided I wanted to learn music theory. And thats when I transferred from SDSU as a Accounting Major to The Art Institute of San Diego to pursue a degree in Audio Production.
