FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have three categories we base our handyman pricing off of. Min - $240 - these are short jobs that don’t require anything besides basic hand tools and basic power tools. Covers 2.5 hours or less, covers basic fasteners as well. Half day - $450 - covers 3-5 hours. Covers one store run (not the materials). This can be jobs that require more specialized tools (chop saw, table saw etc) and that need a little more time. You could get a small drywall patch done (2x2 or less), hang quite a few pictures and shelves, just to name a few. Full day - $700 - covers up to 8 working hours. More complicated projects using more extensive tools, tasks that have multiple different facets to it. We generally don’t go over 8 hours unless it’s necessary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You give us the details and we work out a time that works best for you! For larger jobs that require a quote - I'd stop by at your earliest convenience and check out what needs to be done. For most small jobs (less than a day), we just show up and do the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working in the event industry constructing large structures and trouble shooting every problem imaginable for 10 years. These structures could be permanent and pose many of the same issues a typical house/condo/ apartment would have.
