I wanted to replace my old particle board medicine cabinet with a larger, sturdier cabinet so I contacted several home improvement companies. Antonio responded right away and scheduled a visit to open the wall. He arrived on time and quickly removed the old cabinet and some drywall and created a larger frame to hold the new cabinet. He was efficient but also careful so that no filler or repainting was necessary. In addition, Antonio gives a 3-month warranty on his work. I’m really happy with the workmanship and attention to detail. Antonio also helped me decide on the type of cabinet and gave me suggestions on how to install (left or right opening, and suggested bumpers to protect the adjacent mirror). As if it were his own home. I really appreciated his expertise.

Antonio has been the best pro I have found thus far on Thumbtack. I initially reached out to inquire about replacing some base board that one of my dogs had damaged in his puppy phase. Antonio was quick to respond, and he was flexible regarding my challenging schedule. The base board project turned out beautifully, and I was impressed with the attention he put into a relatively small project.
Since that initial project I have had him do some electrical work as well as construct a step / landing off of some exterior doors. Every project has been completed to exceed my expectations, and the quality is obvious. I highly recommend him, and he will certainly be my first call for future projects as well.

Antonio is definitely someone I would recommend for painting and staining jobs! Easy going, responsive, skilled and trustworthy.
We have quite a lot of wood fencing that had seen better times due to the intense San Diego sun, and needed someone to do a good job on restoring it's beauty. Our wood is a red mangaris (red balau) which is an exotic hardwood so a little harder to work with in general compared to softwoods. Luckily Antonio was up to the task and being from Brazil, familiar with working with all sorts of exotics wood. He did a good job or cleaning and prepping the wood, and was very diligent about making sure the stain coverage was even. He showed up early and on time every day and kept the work areas neat and tidy when he left.
To be honest we had another handyman/contractor who had started the project, but he was not very detailed and was not a good fit as he seemed very confused about the best way to stain our hardwood and yet didn't bother to learn how to apply the stain we purchased properly. Needless to say we separated ways. Luckily that ended up being a blessing in disguise as this led us to Antonio who has been doing a great job so far!
Antonio has done such a good job on our fence so far we also had him paint our front door and some exterior window sills. Full disclosure, he still needs to add a second coat of stain to our fences which should be wrapped up this week. But we have enjoyed working with him so much, I figure a review was well deserved. That said, once everything is all complete later this week, I'll try to add some pics of the finished product.
But for now, if you're looking for a hard-working, professional, yet super friendly handyman who is easy to work with and detailed (and who is very fairly priced), work with Antonio. We already have a few other home projects we hope to hire him for.
