Açaí Carioca is a locally owned Brazilian business bringing the authentic taste of the Amazon to San Diego through premium açaí bowls and smoothies.
Our story is rooted in Brazilian culture and a passion for sharing what real açaí should taste like. Unlike traditional açaí sorbet, our signature blend is made with real açaí berries, minimal ingredients, and no added sugar in our açaí base, creating a uniquely rich flavor and smooth texture that our customers love.
Over time, we've built a loyal local following and were recently honored with a 2026 Certificate of Recognition for “Best Açaí Bowl in the County of San Diego.”

Best aa in San Diego, hands down! We drive 25 minutes just to come here because their aa tastes exactly like the ones we love in Brazil. The flavor, the texture, the freshness everything is absolutely perfect! You can tell they put so much love and care into what they make. Every bite takes me right back to Brazil. If youre an aa lover, this place is a must-try! Worth every minute of the drive. Highly recommend!

AAAAAAMAZING!!!! This was the most delicious acai I've ever had! All my thumbs up! It's a good thing I'm just visiting otherwise I would spend all of my money here and be broke!! But seriously everyone in the whole wide world should try this place! Especially with the passion fruit! And the staff went above and beyond to make my experience awesome! And you can order ahead if you're on the go! No excuses...go try it RN!!!

The aa is delicious, fresh, and generously served. It definitely gives you a little taste of Brazil! The service was great, and everyone was super friendly. Ill definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
