- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For our local moves, we charge by the hour. Movers start work once the client presses the start button on our tablet. The work ends once the last item has been unloaded and the client presses the finish button. Everything is being tracked electronically, so the client will have a complete breakdown of the hours and pricing. There are NO extra fees or hidden charges! If the distance between the pick-up and drop-off address is over 10 miles then the time for driving will be doubled. For example, 30 minutes of real-time driving will cost 1 hour. (The Double Drive Time Law (DDT)) No gas or mileage fees and no extra charges. Our company is fully licensed and insured. The following is included in our hourly rates: Truck & Movers Unlimited tape and plastic wrap Protective blankets Wardrobe boxes - only during the move Assembly and Disassembly Packing and Unpacking.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process is the client contacts me. Gives me a date, time, and the size of the move. I send the estimate and we proceed with booking. Booking can be done easily online or over the phone. The client will receive a confirmation letter via e-mail with all the necessary information regarding the move. The client looks it over, makes sure everything is correct, signs and submits it. That would complete the booking process.
