WORST movers I have EVER used!!!! I feel like I was completely ripped off!!!! I found them on groupon where there was a deal for 5 hours of moving for $199, I called to make sure they were available before purchasing the groupon first and Mike told me that the groupon was sold out and that he would still give me 3 movers, largest truck, 4 large wardrobe boxes, $199 for three hours. Originally we were scheduled to move to riverside county and had worked it all out with him with the 85 miles included for travel time and fees that it would be $638 flat, all inclusive..... Great not too bad considering the drive right? WRONG
I notified them that our originally house fell though and now it would be El Cajon to Alpine, only 12 miles away. Thinking okay well at least now we sill save money not counting the 1:45 min drive time and 85 miles each way...
The day of I got several calls that they were waiting for their third mover to arrive..... finally around 3pm (originally supposed to be 10am) they finally show up, with only TWO guys, one of them very friendly and courteous, the other didn't even speak English and was 'xtremely rude' to my wife! NO wardrobe boxes as promised and double confirmed as we didn't pack the closet knowing they should have them.... Nope I called furious that there was only two and two small guys one very weak an the owner tried to insure that it wouldn't be a problem.....
Then to find out they don't even have good dollys either!
it took the two guys from 3pm until well AFTER 1am!!!!! TEN HOURS
around 11pm or so the owner called demanding more money and had the guys stop moving furniture until the account was paid $650 in full..... MORE THAN THE "GARUNTEED FLAT RATE" to move a much much smaller distance!!! That's NOT RIGHT!
They are true scammers!
In 2013 we moved from Alpine, CA to El Cajon. We used pyramid movers they took about 4 hours total and charged about $450. Three men, 27 foot truck, and they brought wardrobe boxes they had us out of the old place and not only put our things in the new condo but into the rooms labeled on the boxes.
the people from xtreme movers thew just about everything including the heavy furniture, and boxes into our living-room and dinning room making it impossible to get to the kitchen. Leaving us to finish the move ourselves which took us over a week to get the 5 dressers, kitchen hutch, tables and computer desks and 30+ boxes into their proper locations....
The owner said that the movers were still going to help up with the wardrobe boxes and rest of the stuff in the old place, it never happened!
there was still the entire kitchens worth of boxes, and three closets pull of clothes and more boxes, because they ran out of room, guess why, they took all the drawer out of the dressers and stored in the truck.... um I'm not a professional mover and I know it's common sense to put them back in the dresser as to not waist space :/
The grand finally of it all was that they broke my giant bookshelf and the mover said not to worry that he was going to give us $50 for the %coverage of the damages to help us buy a new one..... AND he left his paperwork at our old house and needed it by 7am, so even though I wasn't done moving furniture until 4am I got up at 6am to keep my word and drive down to my old rental to help him retrieve it and again he insured me that he would call about the $50 for the bookshelf.
He never called!!! I am so ready to start a lawsuit on this company for their dishonesty and schemes.
I will NEVER use this company again and I highly recommend you stay clear too!
