I am so pleased with the service we received. In no time at all, my piano was back to perfect pitch, and ready to make beautiful music again!
I specifically selected Nader as my violin instructor because of his experience teaching adult beginners. I'm an absolute beginner with the violin and with reading music. I've been taking lessons for a month now and have made solid progress with both. Nader was the right choice for me and I look forward to working with him long term.
Ed Lanthier is a dedicated musician and guitar teacher in San Diego, CA. Ed has taught me music theory, guitar chord construction, and many songs. He keeps the learning experience light and fun. He provides carefully selected, easy to use learning materials. Ed quickly identifies where I struggle and finds ways to fix my issues. He keeps me motivated on my guitar journey with his enthusiasm and positive reinforcement. He is always on time for lessons and conducts himself in a professional manner. If you are considering taking guitar lessons from a professional teacher, do yourself a favor and give Ed a call Tom Brown Vista, CA
My kids took piano lessons all the time in the past and barely progressed. With Ryan. They are advancing faster and he keeps them motivated! We all love his classes
I've known and worked with Jennifer about six years now. She's an incredible talent and a gifted teacher who will bring out the BEST in you! Extrememly professional (she founded and operated one of the biggest private music schools in the US) and with a tremedous resume of other career accomplishements, both on stage and off. Nurturing, kind and fun too! Wish there were 6 out of 5 stars to give to Jennifer! Anna Danes (Jazz Recording Artist and Producer)
Glenn has been teaching my now 12 year old son the bass guitar for two years. Glenn is a wonderful teacher and good friend to my son and my family. We can't imagine changing teachers. I highly recommend Glenn. He is punctual, prepared and very adaptable to the musical tastes of individual students. After a lesson he often creates a custom YouTube video on the lessons learned. Cameron is friendly, encouraging, creative with new lessons and patient. All the right things you want in your guitar instructor.
My son was new to drums and wanted instruction so that he could develop his skills quickly and properly. As a parent I can say that, Victor was always the type of person you wanted to have teach your child. Victor took the time to get to know how to best teach my son, keep things interesting and relevant for him. Because of Victor's passion for drums and commitment to his student, my son was dedicated to his lessons and improved rapidly. He is good enough now that the neighbors ask me when the next group/band practice is!
I highly recommend US Music Lessons! My 14-year-old son has been with US Music Lessons for nearly a year as part of the Rock Band class. He is a drummer and has loved playing with other students in his band as they learn together the skills they need to be part of an actual rock band. They have played multiple times at local venues, including the Hard Rock Cafe, which has been an incredible experience for the kids. Although my son already was a drummer coming into US Music Lessons (Thanks to his grandfather), he has learned a great deal from the wonderful teachers that instruct the Rock Band. My son plays with kids every week who have been students of US Music Lessons learning various instruments, including voice lessons, and their experience has been positive. The kids coming out of US Music Lessons are all gifted and talented young musicians thanks to the wonderful teachers dedicated to their musical growth. The Rock Band class is an innovative, fun and inspiring way to teach music in that it develops a love and passion for performing and therefore a desire to improve on a daily basis. Playing with others that are like-minded and receiving the feedback in an actual performance class from the instructor has been an invaluable experience for my son.
My children had music lessons with "Miss Lisa" for over ten years now, in both piano and voice. Now, she is even helping my young actress daughter with her audition monologues. She is a very gifted instructor, and is willing to step out of the box to encourage students and to develop their skills. Patient, kind, and thoughtful, she is nowhere near the "scary piano teacher" stereotype. We have followed her through several locations, and are excited for the new Encinitas Music Workshop. My daughter now has hour-long private voice lessons weekly, and still learns new things on a regular basic. At the new workshop space, there is also an opportunity for a break of pace with Guitar Hero, percussion learning, piano, and other musical pursuits.
It was great to meet with Mary Jo Troyer. She responded right away to my request and was able to fit me in to my ideal time. My son loves his piano lessons and Mary Jo.
Sophie taught Suzuki group lessons for my 11 year-old son for the past year. The group was made up of three children playing primarily in Suzuki book 7. Sophie turned the weekly hour into a unique time for the kids to explore elements of music theory, improvisation, and chamber music. The lessons were creative, fun, and time very well spent. Both of my sons (the younger one in Suzuki book 2) were lucky enough to take lessons from Sophie over this past summer. She gave clear instructions for work at home, and helped each boy, on his own level, to focus on cello technique, musicality, and home practice approaches. For four days over the summer, Sophie taught my older son and another student in an intensive four-hour daily course, during which they each prepared a piece for performance. My son was also excited to share a 5 layer recording of himself playing a familiar pop tune, with harmony, bass line, and percussion - the culmination of lessons in improvising harmonies and playing as part of a group. We (my sons and I) can not recommend Sophie highly enough. We will miss her in Chicago!
He's a great piano teacher, my daughter enjoys her lessons. She is making good progress, and feeling more confident about her skills.
Tim has been teaching our son drums for three years now. He's amazing!! Customized lessons, really engages our son and has made it so that he truly loves and looks forward to each lesson.
She is excellent!!! Our three year old daughter enjoys piano lessons with Maria, she makes it fun!
Julien is a great musician who is comfortable with all styles & levels. Weather you're in a band with him or taking lessons you will benefit from all the experience he's gathered over the years!
I am delighted to work with Ron Haslam. I am working on rudiments and learning to read music and he has an excellent approach using stick control and how to strike the drum properly to reading drum music and incorporating this in every rhythm we study.
Nicole is great!! Initially I reached out because I'm already a musician and had a short-term personal musical goal I wanted to accomplish (I was looking more for a teacher that could work with me short-term) I didn't realize how much I didn't know and she endeavored to help me reach that certain goal among others and keeping me interested and challenged to that I continued lessons after because I take a lot of delight in them. Not to mention, she's also very personable in a professional manner which makes the lessons even more enjoyable.
Our 5 year-old has improved a great deal while taking lessons with Amy. She has made it fun and has personalized her lessons to his interest and developmental stage. He now has a better posture while playing and has started to read music.
Megan Padilla at Gracenote studio is a dream! She was an answer to prayers of my heart. After a big move (upheveal for piano lessons) we weren’t satisfied with our first option. Megan has years of experience, skills, and tons of patience. Her knowledge is both deep and broad. She’s a lovely person, excellent pianist, and fabulous teacher. What is even more wonderful is that Megan comes to my house for lessons saving me time and hassle. I’m so happy with our piano experience and I’m excited for her to be able to teach my younger kids as they get old enough to play too!
Piano lessons with Gabe are something to look forward to for one reason: you know that you’re always going to learn something that not only makes you a better piano player, but a better musician overall. Technique and notes on the page are only half the journey. Gabe will consistently guide you through the other half where you and others will hear yourself truly making music. He’s extremely talented, but also down to earth and humble, and he’ll will work on whatever style of music you’re wanting to work on. Highly recommended if you’re looking to sound like a true musician and not just another piano player!
