Introduction
I am a NASM certified personal trainer in San Diego, CA. I primarily help clients build muscle (hypertrophy training). You will get stronger and efficiently burn fat. I will teach you the proper lifting techniques and progressive overload while helping exercise become part of your daily routine. I train at a semi-private gym in central San Diego. The gym is specifically for personal trainers and their clients. It is equipped with free weights, machines, cardio equipment, etc. The space is clean, well maintained, and located in the Bay Park area of San Diego, CA. I began my own fitness journey in 2014. At the time, I didn’t exercise or have any healthy daily habits. I decided one day I was tired of feeling tired. I was 24 years old and had a hard time going up 2 flights of stairs. I was a skinny guy with no muscle. I wanted to change. I spent the next several years getting in shape and finding the joy in exercising. Fitness became so important to me, that I changed careers and began training clients in 2017. I want to help others in their fitness journeys because I felt I didn’t have a resource when I first started. I want to “simplify" fitness and help you feel the amazing benefits.

I started training with Bradley in June 2019 with his online app. I was clinically overweight, and not very excited about another training program, however, Bradley seemed enthusiastic and I was interested in his personalized approach. I travel for work and hate going to the gym. I don't mind running. Bradley put together a program that he tailored just for me. No weights or gym. Just body weight exercises I could do while I'm on the road and some running. He helped me find a disposable protein type shaker cup that I could travel with. Seems like a small find, but I had mentioned this in passing one day to Bradley and he, on his own, researched this for me and had some suggestions that ended up being perfect for me. But the real deal is Bradley himself and his willingness to be part of his clients success. How do I know? Because through his online program we talk one on one every week and he keeps me motivated and on track. And Bradley adjusts the plan as needed. When I'm in San Diego for work, I schedule a time to meet and get a one on one workout. The best of both worlds. The proof, as they say, is in the pudding! (lol). Since I started with Bradley I have lost 40 pounds! I visited my Dr the other day, and she couldn't believe it. The nurse said I now have the blood pressure of an athlete! Which I laughed out loud at. I've never been called an athlete in my life! But through the hard work, sweat and sacrifice ... Bradley has been right there with me. Guiding, tough loving, encouraging and pushing me to get to where I am today. I have 10 more pounds to go until I'm at my goal (btw, I'm 6'01", 46 yo, male, 185 lbs). But I can honestly say, Bradley has changed my life for the best (!) and I'm so happy I've had the opportunity to work with him these last few months. If only I lived in San Diego I could see him more often! I can't wait for the journey to continue and to continue having to buy new clothes because of my weight loss and fitness gains. 10/10 HIGH RECOMMEND: I started my training with Bradley at the top of 2021 with one goal in mind: be in the best shape of my life heading into my 30’s. What was meant to be a 3-month program leading up to my birthday, wound up extending into a longer commitment because of how great I felt. My sessions with Bradley had such a positive impact on my physical and emotional health. I started to regain my self-identity and confidence; something I was struggling with post pregnancy. Training with Bradley became an integral part of my new, balanced, and healthy routine - it gave me something to look forward to during the week and the discipline to remain consistent with a program that betters who I am. I do not normally leave reviews, and this review is definitely long past due. Throughout my life, I have always had a gym membership, but did not go as much as I wanted. When I did go to the gym though, I had no idea what I was doing and caught myself sitting at a machine scrolling through my phone on social media. I would leave the gym feeling proud that I went and even telling friends that I went to the gym made me feel good, but in reality, I was never productive going to the gym and working out by myself. I am self-conscious about my body. I would see other people, whether it be friends or people I follow on social media that have great bodies and wanted to have the type of body they had. That was my goal, was to have ripped abs, and a great body but I never wanted to work for it. I thought it was too hard and that is why I was never productive when I went into a gym by myself. I was paying hundreds of dollars being a member at some of the nicest gyms because it felt good telling friends and family that I had a gym membership at a certain place, but deep down, I never got the results I wanted when signing up for a gym membership because I thought it was too hard to get the results I wanted. Throughout my life, I have hired a few different trainers thinking that I would become more motivated and that the trainers would help me achieve my personal fitness goals. Unfortunately none of the trainers I have ever had in my life seemed passionate, cared about my progress and put me on a path that would help me reach my goals, until I hired Bradley. I did quite the research before deciding to hire another trainer and a friend of mine asked me to give Bradley a try. My friend said that Bradley was a different type of trainer and that he was someone who really looks out for those he trains and really puts them on a plan for success in reaching their personal goals. I still looked at other trainers because I was nervous hiring another trainer knowing how I feel about my body and what my goals are. After seeing great reviews of Bradley and hearing how amazing of a trainer he was, I decided to hire Bradley and invest in a personal trainer. I will be honest, I was a bit nervous hiring another trainer. I had no idea what to expect or even if it was worth the investment. When I first started training with Bradley, we talked a lot about the reason I have decided to invest into a personal trainer, how he could help me stay accountable and reach my personal goals, but most importantly, after speaking with Bradley for quite some time, my goals changed. My goals were no longer to look like someone else or to have the body that someone else has. My goals become more personal and when realizing that after talking to Bradley, I became committed, motivated and trusted the process. Bradley has been my trainer for almost 2 years now. He trains me several times a week and I have come a long way. I have changed bad eating habits, I have started to track the types of food I put in my body. I have a more healthier lifestyle than ever before. I have started sleeping more but most importantly, Bradley has been the only trainer that has understood my life, my story and together, we have reached my personal goals. I have never trained with someone as patient, professional and passionate as Bradley. Every day that I train with Bradley, I leave feeling like we got work done. I leave feeling proud of what we did in our training sessions and most importantly, I enjoy the workouts that we do. Bradley always comes prepared with an entire plan of what we are going to do in our training sessions, tracks my progress and works with me personally to understand where I currently stand in accomplishing any goals that we set for myself. If you are reading this review, I promise you that Bradley is different than other trainers. I would highly encourage you to reach out to him and try a few training sessions with him to start. He has really impacted my life in so many ways. Working out helps me relieve stress, it allows me to focus on myself and with a trainer like Bradley, I have been able to reach my personal goals. If you are thinking about investing in a personal trainer, want to improve your body, foods you eat or just need more motivation get achieve your goals, Bradley is the guy for you! I have never felt more happier and satisfied with my body! I am a more healthier person and honestly Bradley sort of helped changed my life. He understand that everybody's body is different and works with each of us personally to accomplish our goals. I trained with Bradley a little over a year, and we would meet twice a week. That made a huge impact in my mental health and overall life. My goal was to lose my covid weight but Bradley explained to me that it's not about being skinny, it's about being healthy and happy with your body. Obviously I lost the weight and even gained muscle, which I thought I couldn't. Gyms used to scare me and the machines intimidated me. Bradley explained what the machines are used for and how to use them properly. Now I can go to a gym and not feel like I don't know what I'm doing. I loved working with Bradley because he was fun, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, attentive and over all theraputic.
