Introduction: Dogs are my life! I have owned dogs my whole life, I have been fostering and rescuing dogs ( mostly pitbulls) for 15 years, giving me a lot of hands on experience, watching and learning dog behavior from a wide variety of different dog breeds, behaviors and issues. Three years ago, I decided to enroll in dog training school. While I am still fairly new in the field of dog training, I feel I have much to offer. Through training dogs, using positive reinforcement and behavioral modification methods, I get to help create a secure and confident relationship between human and dog, therefore also helping to keep the shelter population down. Heather was very accommodating and understanding. She joined with us when expressing our frustrations with our dogs' behavior issues and was patient but firm when showing us how to correct some of the issues. Heather reassured us that progress will happen if we are consistent and provided easy to do exercises with our dogs. We look forward to working with her next weekend!

Heather has been working with my son's Great Dane. She is doing a great job with both of them. He's letting us take him for a walk rather than the other way around. He is also being more respectful of our space. We have a ways to go and fortunately Heather is being very patient with us. Great Job!
